A Trip on The SL2 Bus Route!

Today I'm joined by @GTransit in East London as we travel from Walthamstow Central to North Woolwich on a journey along the newest section of the Superloop, on the SL2 route. An observational video, as we comment on pros and cons of our local #loopybus express route. We also soaked in the rain.
One more route to go- SL4 in 2025. See you there :)

This is before your time but in north woolwich there used to be a small train museum there, I used to love going there before or after going to the park. The train also ran from North Woolwich to Stratford, I would take it to West Ham sometimes but very unreliable. The last time I took it in maybe 2005 or 6, the train was over an hour late and I caught a cold.
The train on the flat bed truck did rather steal the show, I must admit. Good video.

I was thinking that the SL4 bus should go as far as Bromley to link with SL3 and SL5.

Nice video, Riku. I'm planning to ride the whole loop of the Superloop (so excluding SL8) and see how long it takes.
Great video. Good that you point out where the service fell down and should be improved; maybe one extra point - there is no interchange with the Central Line at Woodford or South Woodford, for people wanting stops to Epping. I know it would add to the time taken to divert to either of these - but how about, when a frequency increase happens, making the extra buses into a new route (SL2A??) from South Woodford Central line, up to the N.Circular and then same as S2 to Walthamstow, maybe not go to Central but carry on same as S1 to Green Lanes stop, and then divert and terminate at Palmers Green station, which is another of the few rail interchanges missed by Superloop at the present.
Might you consider a video about how to get across the river to complete the Loop? - by the Woolwich Ferry? - or the foot-tunnel? - or the DLR? Maybe arrange a race with some guests?

nice one. i went on it on the first day and this route litterally wasnt ready to be in service. youre telling me most of them arent branded, the destinations arent there and a DW entered the SL2 .

It’s not Barking Bus garage // SL2 ,175,150 are based at Ripple Road Dagenham ie Barking DX because this is Arriva and the one you said is stagecoach
There really needs to be more bus lanes and bus priority measures, to reduce travel times further

I still am kind of disappointed with this route as using Ilford Lane for express service is ridiculous, no one counts Newham as 'Outer London' and its kind of pathetic how the bus doesn't even have a stop in Havering, but at least it gets me to the station faster. Also Barking DX garage operate the 175 too and they operate it quite well along with the 150 and the 175 is one of the more reliable routes where I live...
They really should've considered a Superloop bus from Oxford Circus to Romford covering the 25 and 86. Those two buses are some of the busiest bus routes in London. That way you gave Havering a Superloop bus and who knows maybe 25 to Oxford Circus could come back but I doubt it.
