I just watched a 9 minute video on a border that doesn’t concern me and I loved it. What???

I saw that and was like, “did that just happen?!” I love the little Easter eggs in this series, too funny!
Didn't Jay noticed?
Did... did that cardboard London hit a horse?
Nope. Computer magic and a cheeky sound effect. In real life, the cardboard thing landed nowhere near the horse.
I’ve a feeling Jay grew up on a steady diet of Monty Python, the goons, Ronnie Barker and yes (prime) minister. Editing is occasionally illogical.
But did the horse land anywhere near the cardboard thing?
Kimberly Brouwers it’s entirely possible that the cardboard representation of London remained completely stationary and the horse, Jay and the rest of the greater metropolis moved around it, but I think that may be beyond the scope of this video.

Gwangmyeong is a suburban city, being southwest to Seoul City proper, of Greater Seoul (technically belonging to Gyeonggi Province) in South Korea, but not still part of Seoul proper. It used to be planned to be annexed into Seoul City proper, but the central government, rather wanting to foster satellite cities, didn't want to expand Seoul more, so it had to become an independent municipality despite the residents' hope to become proper Seoulites.

The whole “I live in a different town than what my mailing address says” is an issue in the US too. I’ve found that most people default to saying what’s on their mail as being where they say they’re from…. unless it’s a very rural area. In those areas, the zip code town name is huge, and so you have to be more specific when saying where you live. If the made-up zip code name of Anywhere has an area of 50 miles, it’s more helpful to say you live in the little town of “But Here” within “Anywhere.”
The suburban communities of Rochester, NY seem to be in a similar limbo. When I visited there, I found out that RIT bordered a place known as “Henrietta”, but then I found out that its postal address was still in Rochester. I then found an Outback Steakhouse in “Greece” (the community in Upstate NY, not the country), but it was again in Rochester according to its postal address. My question is whether the city of Rochester has ever had to do something like London did.
There is a zip code in my county that crosses the boarder into the next county. More confusingly, the zip code name is the same as the name of this other county. So people who live there have to give their address as being a county they don't live in.
In the UK, you need to also include different countries. A friend of mine lives in Wales, but her postcode is for Herefordshire, which is in England. (While they're both obv in the UK, they are still different countries.)
@@Trixtah in the Wirral, Merseyside our post code is still CH for Cheshire and it often says Cheshire on addresses

Here in America, In the New England area. The GEOGRAPHIC home counties - Middlesex, Berkshire, Essex, Kent, Surrey - still do exist, however, and encroach into the political area of Greater London. However, those run right up to the walls of the ancient City, and do not respect the political changes of 1889 and 1965. So Hounslow is in Middlesex geographically, but so is Westminster. Bexley is in Kent geographically, but so is Lewisham. And so on...
Postal counties that show home counties in Greater London specifically outside of the cardinal inner-London post codes, however, were formally axed in 1996.
