    “ WHAT A NATIONAL DISCRACE” THOSE AT THE TOP.SHOULD RESIGN. THOSE POOR VICTIMS. AND THOSE INJURED. DESERVE BETTER. TO LITTLE TO LATE. SHAME ON THEM. AND THE GOVERNMENT TO.

      agree. They wont tho, their pensions are too important to them.
      If I was the parent of that little girl or the guy, both left to bleed out, unattended I would be placing a public notice every 3 month online, naming the fools in charge that refused entry to the crews desperate to go in, constantly name and shame to remind them that THEY killed those two people. Seriously, what parent who had their 7 yr old killed, bleeding out, ignored, wouldn't want to make those that made those stupid decisions that night be put through repeated reminders.
      - I get they need a plan, but overriding that, it should be, -YOU are advised to hold here, until we know it's safe. IF you chose to go in, that is on you, but there will be NO reprocsions. If you get injured, we wont be sending anyone in to get you. -
      A written policy.
      - the cases on file when ppl have fallen in rivers, and the first responders are ORDERED not to jump in to rescue. Emerg workers are not well paid, they do not sign up to give their life, they are not military, but Going-In should remain a human choice, with no risk of losing your job
