I'm proud that the UK doesn't tolerate racist or any other form of verbal abuse - even if it is imperfectly applied. To give it context - my studio is in the part of town that still has a medieval street layout - lots of wiggly roads, and roads that cut through, or come out through buildings, and lots of dead end 'yards'.
I was cutting through these little roads one day, on my way home, and came across an Asian woman wearing a saree, with her little girl (two or three years) being ranted at by a middle aged white woman - calling her a terrorist and a 'p*ki', etc. Poor woman had ony taken a wrong turn on her way to the train station, and had stopped to ask for directions. I told the Karen to s*d off, and walked the woman to the station. It was horrible.
Another time - one yelled at me from a car (the weekend after the Brexit vote) "we won, you have to f*ck off home now cos we won". Had to be at me, cos nobody else was around. I can only assume that some people in Yorkshire have a *really* deep seated dislike of red headed Northumbrians.
And yeah... Hatie Katie (Hopkins)... Nobody will take her off our hands. Oh, she said on Twitter that we need a "final solution" to - I dunno, something to do with Muslims. I wonder, are you a Nazi if you recommend Nazi policies...?

Oh yes.I had a professional Karen have a go at me. She was the Council Dog Warden. She screeched up in her Council-owned van with "Dog Warden" written on the side, and proceeded to berate me for having a dog off-lead on the pavement.
She asked: "Do you have a lead, will you put him on it?"
    I replied. "Yes. No."
I then told her that there was no Public Space Protection order saying that he had to be on a lead.

isn't getting yourself fired part of what Anti-Social Media is for. Regarding the Singapore twit, by the time his case was dealt with he'd already spent at least most or the jail time given when his sentence was determined, hence why he only spent one additional day in jail.

9:58 Those kids were listening to *BMW* by *Bad Boy Chiller Crew* the *Bassline* crew from *Bradford.*
The woman *Fay Johnson* was originally released without charge, after she claimed hitting *Antwon Forrest* with the paddle was an accident, until the backlash from the public made the Police press charges for assault which was clearly racially motivated. She was found guilty of ABH, however she got found not guilty of the racially motivated charge, even though *Antwon* was the only Black person there, and the only kid she attacked.

He could have been the one giving her lip though. It's racist to single him out as a racial motivator just because he's the only one. If she did attack him for his race then she's racist but if it's anger at what they are doing it isn't racist.
What is wrong regardless is the assault and assaulting anyone even white people is wrong.

In case you don't know what an "ASBO" (mentioned at 2:10) is, it's an Anti-Social Behaviour Order. It's a bit like being on parole - if you make yourself a nuisance, you can be sent straight to jail or given a major penalty.

  • @SimonCowie86
    @SimonCowie86 Рік тому

Mate even politicians in U.K. broke their own guidelines.
    In Northern Ireland
Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) member Sammy Wilson was cought on CCTV on a bus.reading a news paper & the police DUP or Wrstminster didn’t take action but as soon as Michelle, O’Neill & a few Sinn Fein members who was wearing masks & with social distancing in place went to a funeral & tWrstminster DUP criticised & complained to the police & an offical investigation was started.
Plus Boris Johnson the Prine Minister who was forced out & mislead goverment & has been fined for what we call party gate at 10 Dowing Street.
So it wouldn’t be a shock that normal people broke them rules as well while I was forced to isolate from day 1 till the around January when they lifted the specail restrictions on the most vulnerable.
