Good information, as usual, Jordan. As you have done in previous videos, it would have been nice if you had summarized the three tips on the screen at the end as an aid for those of us who don't retain information as we once did. Thanks for all that you do for our sport.
Both. It needs to be slightly open to get it over the net and to fight gravity. Also depends how high the ball is but waist height and lower...yes, slightly open on both sides.
Used this one to help my wife with her volleys. Great breakdown of the skill. Idea for a video...Volleying in no man's land. I will often find myself doing a split step on the way to the kitchen and getting a below the waist shot that needs to be volleyed. The shot on forehand or backhand itself is different from a shot at the line AND a where to hit it back to decision is needed as well. Could use some advice/examples on that. Thanks!

Quick question, so for tip 1 w/ having your paddle face open. Is this just for backhand volleys or forehand volleys as well?

The volleys looks so weird compared to a volley in padel tennis or tennis...
How so? There’s a lot of similarity in my view.
U start so low , a volley in tennis or padel u start way higher up?
