We are in Illinois about 45 miles south of Chicago and winters here are cold and often brutal so when I hear Wyoming residents warning others about their winters, it doesn't scare us away. We just came back from touring the state and loved it. Now a California resident looking to move to Wyoming, that's going to be a harsh weather shock.
Have always loved Casper since my first visit there. Worked a long time ago for a company that sent us up to Casper every quarter for a 2-3 day stay. Needless to say I never failed to get that assignment! What I love about the place is its 'Little Big City' feel. Over the years I had many occasions to go through Casper and became very familiar with the city and its surrounding area and even planned to move there yet alas that plan never came to be. Great v-log coverage and it's great so see how little things change there!

Kyle, you need to plan a trip to Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky---Interstate 840 in Tennessee and Interstates 69 and 165 in Kentucky are just waiting for you to drive them, my friend!

Worked in Western Nuclear Jeffery cityin 1975,75 , and on the oil rigs , I liked Casper, and wanted to retire their .
I did too! Down in C55 (3rd shift) back in 1977 (or was it '78?). SO very happy I got out of there!
