- To help new and existing importers learn the process of importing goods and merchandise from foreign countries into the United States, CBP has developed an informational video that addresses the Import Process. The video addresses everything from examples of commercial goods to formal and informal entries, as well as categorization in the HTS and liquidation.
Very informative video! It gave me a good understanding of the importing process. I’m about to start a new job as a purchasing agent for a manufacturing and distribution center! They purchase wholesale items internationally!

Great Video. Just want to let the UA-cam Fam know that if your importing personal goods, no need for 3rd parties. File/Clear it yourself for $20 less. Depending on the situation of course.

at the 1 minute mark it would have be EXTREMELY helpful if they had said that was a ISF (importer security filing) which you can do through a broker found on the CBP website.

hi, when i send to usa, will it be customs broker dhl or fedex itself?
And the buyer will pay the shipping price and customs price , import tax , duty ? Will the buyer do the customs clearance or do dhl fedex do it themselves and then cut the clearance money when it arrives at home?
