So I got my 10th new drumset; it's so-so, but I was able to get out this video of All The Small Things.
This song is one of those songs where basically a gold star is only attainable by a full combo (or only one miss): so that's why I didn't get it, as I missed three or four times.
Nevertheless, it was only my 3rd time playing the song, so I think if I played it again I could clean up the few misses and get gold.
As for not having socks on the set, the sock mod only works on QM sets: it does not work at all on EL sets, which is what this set is.

He plays drums for 4+ yrs, so he does play an instrument in real life. He even goes on to state in the second to last paragraph that a rockband drum setup isn't authentic to what a real drum would be. Y'know I guess that's why he puts the "read this first please" as to avoid redundant comments. I s'ppose if people kept saying the same crap even though it's so easy to click to the side and scroll down, I would be irritated right now too. Good job man on the song.
during fills each pad is always set to a specific drum, so it's all knowing how they sound and that's about it
I could never dream of being able to achieve any standard CLOSE to how good you are at the drums. And yes, the drums in Rock Band are in NO WAY similar to real life drums. I bet you're just as amazing at the real drum-set. Thanks for the video! :)
press start and there is something called "lefty flrip" if you hit the "green drum" when that is highlighted then your drumset will "flip" as the red drum becomes the green drum or to be more technical your green drums becomes the snare, red drum becomes your crash
i found out a few weeks ago why i've gotten so many bad sets, but i can't really talk about it lol
basically it was a computer error (not on my part), that's as far as i'm gonna say

Best I can tell ya is practice. There are many different warmup exercises you could try involving offbeats so you can get used to dividing up your limbs (one involving eighth notes, quarter notes, and triplets might not be a bad one to try out). I had that same problem when I first started, but if you try to keep them all separated it usually helps (well, it helped me, at least). You could also try doing just the bass, and then add in one instrument at a time until you've got everything going.

for the PS3 and 360 you can purchase it for download but for Wii on the 15th you can buy a bonus pack with 20 new songs like this and move along
about people saying 'why dont you play a real instrument?' thats the big difference between RB on drums and RB on guitar...it really does translate well between RB and real life on drums.
and i know LOTS of people who play guitar and have trouble with GH and RB (and i can play most songs on expert and dont play IRL)
he does the play the drums in real life, and he makes expert look easy

um... i can do double bass, and this song requires no double bass.
if you're talking about a hi-hat pedal, i'll admit that i haven't practiced that, just because the set i bought is used and the hi-hat pedal is basically broke: but again, this song doesn't really use it that intensively.
On a real drumset, you're not being timed with a metronome to hit your drums perfectly, nor will you be booed off stage if you're off by 1BPM, or if you forget a single note.

The game has been delayed further, until the 2009 fiscal year. Most likely around April, May time. I have heard some rumours however that it has been delayed until September.
generally my first try/runthrough of the song: the only songs i haven't 5-starred 1st try were:

Hey !! I was just watching the vids with your band, and wow you guys are just awesome !! I'm a beginner at Rock Band, and in my band I'm the drummer too. I don't play the real drums so my coordination is a bit bad XD, but with time I will get it. I wish I could play a real drum set though :). But besides that you guys are really great keep up the good work :)
if you brake your bass pedal, get a piece of wood and cut it out the same shape as your pedal than glue them together. hoped this helped.

Yeah dude you can totally get it for the PS2 you don't really have to freak about it breaking I would recomend get the 170$ deal where you get the guitar, th drum set, and microphones and also including the game disc. This game is so worth the money.
i like how people get all offensive over rockband, especially the drums.. and not just on youtube but even on XBL.. when ever i beat someone on a score duel i end up getting a crazy message its just a GAME!!! it doesnt matter if anyone plays instruments in real life.. i play rockband and madden and im not a football coach or a drummer.. its made for amusement.. some ppl need to grow up in realize it.. by the way great vids.. there fun to watch.. i wanna see you play blackend on expert!!!

you either have to have xbox live, playstation network, or buy the track pack vol 1 released for the systems.
use a losse grip while hitting the drums. the drum sticks pop up giving you an easier chance to hit it again quick
uh, i'm not breaking them out of rage. the original kits were very bad quality: the first one i got was literally broken out of the box, and the rest broke within two to three songs.
i actually didn't study/practice this much at all lol, as it says in the info it was only my 3rd time playing it

Soccer is definitely harder and more tiring.
But you really can't compare them.
drumming in the game is harder then real life drumming. It is very similar though, and just as fun.
