- Welcome to a beautiful little area of the Pilbara.
The Pilbara is a large, dry, thinly populated region in the north of Western Australia. It is known for its Aboriginal peoples and historical sites; its ancient landscapes; the red earth; and its vast mineral deposits, in particular iron ore. It is also a global biodiversity hotspot for subterranean fauna.

Thanks for the memories..lived in Karratha from July 2020 to April 2022. We explored and camped nearly every 2nd weekend around the Pilbara region...beautiful spot. Missed the red dirt and the watering holes. Found your video on recommendation and loved it. 😀
Beautiful area, probably get up there year. Nice video mate, sounds like you got a few pots and pans banging about though 😉.
Legend, always inspiring, thank you 🙌
Its a crazy irony - we rely on mining and exploration tracks to enter and admire many of these places yet there is the ever present potential for the mining company to exploit resources they find. Another beautifully produced video Salty, well done.
Thanks legend! appreciate it!

I know this Pool. I took a Quad Bike there and have ridden trail bikes here. I had a couple of scary moments on the Quad. I couldn't imagine anyone towing something to this spot. Nice to see some of the Pilbara on UA-cam.
could almost make a whole tik tok/intsagram page devoted to those fly away drone shots

Spent 5 years in the Pilbara
You really get to appreciate
It’s unique land scape and how ancient it is.
Loved the vid mate. I have a soft spot for the Pilbara as I lived in Port Hedland for 5 years and regularly headed off the beaten track in search of places off the map. What was even more special about this video for me was I regularly travelled to all the places you went to. All the best mate and I look forward to the next video.
The pilbara is amazing. hence why i have never left.👍🏽👍🏽
So good seeing a new ep. Just been up to Karijini, but it would be so amazing to get out and away from the crowds to see lesser known gorges. Hope to see more episodes soon. 👊
