The only thing I regret about moving to this place?
Not moving here sooner!
G'day ladies and gents, in this episode I punch out of Dampier, in Australia's North-West, and FINALLY have my chance to explore the waters around my new home of Karratha.
Equipped with nothing but my camera gear, some fishing tackle, and the mighty 420 Dory, I get stuck right into it, and start learning about this place, because as it stands, I know absolutely NOTHING, but through trial and error as these episodes continue, I will dial it in perfectly.
I have plenty to talk about, to explain, and to share, so rather than me babble on in this little section here, enjoy the video, soak it all in, and if you've got any knowledge or advice to share with myself for my new journey in the Pilbara, feel free to let me have it, as the more the merrier.

Great Video mate - love that area we hired a house boat moored in Flying Foam Passage and fished around the islands - always have a lure out the back - never know what you might get. Had to laugh at your Grand Parents keeping an eye on you. Stay safe - looking forward to many videos from up that way.

Ive only watched one of your videos other then this one and I wasnt sure if I was on board or not, seeing that you shared time with your Nanny and Grandad was the best part of this video for Me. I dont have Mine any more and it brought a little tear to My eye watching the time you have with them, keep up the vids I will be watching. ps. the tax man/sharks are always wanting your fish, good luck dodging them

Hello mate. I use to live up theee years ago . Doorman at nightclub . Get into the creeks. Fields creek . Get a throw net. Learn how to throw it. Take couple crab nets. Threadfin. Mangrove jack. Wish you well your a good lad 👍🏼

Great episode good to see you have a healthy relationship with your family
After years of sharks steeling my fish I found a solution!
I use a freedom 7 shark shield tied to 40m of heavy line with a release weight at the end
Keep it about 10 from the bottom and you will never have a shark problem
I use it when spearfishing and you get a $200 discount from the state government

If you like working, fishing, earning a good buck, and warm weather, I'd say get up here any day of the week! Best move I've ever made for me personally mate, Karratha is home for me now 🙂
