I liked it and all, just hope you do part 2 regardless. I know for me usually if I see a reactor hasn't uploaded part 2 I don't bother watching the part 1. could help views on both vids
@26:36 the answer to your question “what the F is that”, it is a Titan. Bricky missed this off his video, they are a part of the Adeptus Mechanicus the techno (not music) guys from a force called the Collegia Titanica. Bricky says in his vid that The Imperial Knights are the big scary unit of 40K, the Titans make them look like ants. The sizes of a titan range from between on average 15 to 60 meters with the rare titans standing in at 150 meters tall which is about the size of a building with at least 40 floors.
The redacted bit from the Dark Angels Legion is that half the legion fell to chaos during the Horus Heresy. They, the Dark Angels who didn't fall, really want to keep that a secret. Their methods for keeping that secret are very brutal.
To make it more accurate and complicated, it's Dark Angels who were loyal to the Lion/Luther/Imperium and hated Lion/Imperium/actually fell to Chaos. Mix and match as you like and you have the loyal DA vs the confused gaggle of Fallen all under the same umbrella for convenience.
Fun fact: a thing the Adeptus Custodes do to "pass the time" beside their duty in guarding the Emperor is something called "Blood Games": to test their defences against invaders, assassins ect. a random Custodian would leave the Imperial Palace and spends days, weeks or even months of planning before enacting a mock assassination attempt. Whether they succeed in stopping him or not, they then analize whatever flaw was in their defences and fix that.
"Every morning I break out of my house. Every evening I break in. I do not sleep. I merely repair the damage and perfect my defences until I am either permanently entombed in my house or effectively exiled from my house."
The saddest part of the lore for me is that the Emperor of mankind was actually very anti-religious, he wasn't an atheist as he knew that the Chaos Gods existed, long before the rest of mankind did in fact but believed that faith was just a tool often misused to exploit the masses. His first act as Emperor was to tear down all the churches and temples while banning any form of worship save for the cult of the machine on Mars as he was pragmatic and like Bricky said you cant get anything done if you don't have the tools. His original goal was to unite all of mankind under one banner and instil the "Imperial Truth" which was a doctrine of science, understanding and research so you can only imagine how he must hate what his empire became after he was sealed into the Golden Throne and the High Lords of Terra took over and started to "interpret his will".
Yeah but he also made himself 20 feet tall, wore golden armor, used magic, and wielded a flaming sword. He didn't do himself any favors in that regard. Also, even Guilliman has started to ponder the idea of the Emperor being a god after speaking to an Ecclisiarch Priest
@@AustinFoss00 The Emperor did to a lot of questionable and often shortsighted things like deciding not to warn any of his sons that the chaos goes were even a thing because he seemly thought if they don't know about them then they would not go looking/fall under their influence instead of letting them know and preparing them. and I agree that it would be hard for folks not to see him as a god when he turning up as a literal glowing golden giant and was able to force an entire legion of space marines to kneel while he destroy everything they build in his honour with only his mind because they dared to see him as a god is a very old testament style wrathful god thing to do yet he still was "no talk of gods! Only science"😂
@@TheOneWhoSometimesSaysOkit was, the had a cooperation until GW decided that they didn't like the design and wouldn't invest. Starcraft was made because the company didn't waste the development.
@@TheOneWhoSometimesSaysOk Warcraft was supposed to be a Warhammer game. It fell through with GW, so Blizz decided to change it just enough to avoid being sued and publish it anyway. It was a major success, so they went and did the same thing with 40k. And now it's their own thing. But never doubt for a second that both Warcraft and Starcraft are complete rip-offs of Warhammer. Because they most definitely are.
Warp travel in 40k is like having to drive across the devil's front lawn to get anywhere, and you're following Dolph Lundgren's 10,000,000 lumen flashlight.
Best Culexus Assassin lore bit has to be when a Guardsman disobeys his commander's orders and decides to rush in a fight by himself, accidentally stepping one foot inside the radius of a Culexus Assassin deploying their Blank field. The Guardsman just blows his brains out without a second thought.
Once in a while I see people comment some variation of "This person talks too much" and I'm just befuddled because... why are you watching a reaction video if you don't want them to talk? Also some people complain like "This person pauses too much", which again, why are you here? My favourite reaction channels are ones who talk the most! The ones who adds context and ideas and facts to the things they watch. One reaction channel, while watching a video about space stuff, paused the video and went on a 5 minutes tangent and expanding on the space stuff he was watching. Those are my favourite ones! I don't wanna stare at someone staring at their screen for an hour, I can do that by putting a mirror next to my screen.
These people are most likely kids/morons who don't know/forgot what youtube's algorithm is and they keep feeding it to give them reactions @@grimsladeleviathan3958
That's literally just stealing content at that point. I adamantly refuse to watch reactors like that. **cough** Asmongold **cough** Please, I dare someone to try to defend that lazy greaseball.
Fun fact they also love melta weapons. If a melta weapon is being used indoors a normal huma would die because it also emmits toxic gas... Seems also not a nice way of dying
They're my favorite Space Marines by far. The thing I love about them is they're one of the only, actually good, caring nice factions (so long as you're human) in the entire setting that will put your life over theirs to save you. Yet, they look terrifying. They're massive, charcoal skinned, red eyed monsters that, like you said, have an affinity for flame weaponry. Oh, and their Primarch is the biggest and the strongest and also immortal like his dad, and one of the only ones that actually somewhat held his own in his trial against the emperor.
"Innocence proves nothing" is actually a genius motto. Because you can be 100% innocent of heresy, for example, but that does not mean you are not being used, unknowingly, by agent of chaos as a vital cog in a future chaos incursion. You have been declared loyal and innocent, dear UA-camr, but you must be put down. Have a good day. ***pew-pew-pew***
40k is a decades worth of lore development with stumbles and all but they did bring it on proper track every time. Henry Cavil is apparently the show runner and executive on Amazon's 40k series and couldn't ask for a better man to lead it. Henry Cavil is a fan so he will give it justice. I hope.
As for the "innocence proves nothing" bit, here's some context: It goes along the lines of "If you're innocent, then you're guilty of wasting everyone's time." It's kind of gaslighting-ish, but definitely sounds badass. Everyone *is* the villain after all.
It makes more sense when you're routing out heresy. Unwilling pawns who truly are unaware of what they're doing could cause a chaos incursion from being influenced by daemons so their innocence and ignorance can truly be harmful.
@danielc2701 unless of course your the one that got sloppy from the genestealer. Patient zero. Getting the genestealer kiss kinda seems like an event you wouldn't forget
46:45 Another thing that makes the Vindicare unique is that as it is in many video games, they have SO MANY types of rounds...sometimes your target has a force shield, so you need to hit them with a shield-breaker round before you hit them with the killing round, or maybe they're armored, so you need an armor-piercer, perhaps their demonic, so you may need multiple holy rounds to banish them...and their suit is basically an all-purpose enviro-suit...not only does it have cloaking features, it keeps the body and muscles in top condition while not moving an inch...
The moment you start to learn about 40k it’s already too late! Welcome battle brother! I hope you enjoy and find your faction you love the most! P.s I love berserk as much as the fandom but it doesn’t hold a candle or match compared to 40k! It’s ridiculously over the top but amazing in how consistent and mixed it keeps the sci fi- medieval fantasy!
I love Berserk more than i do 40k. But for personal reasons. The Lamenters and Guts really stick with me. But its the bigger story abroad with Berserk that puts it above for me personally.
Glad and thankful that you guys are enjoying the reactions. Warhammer 40k is such a unique universe and I get excited to watch more with each reaction!
@@WeAINTseenITREACTIONS Love that you picked Adeptus mechanicus as your stand out faction, they're my guys too! Most important part that was left out was that they don't allow AI (abominable intelligence) of any kind after an uprising during the dark age of technology. They use lobotomized servitors as their equivalent and it's an incredibly brutal process, worth reading about. Someone can be 99% machine parts which is totally fine as long as the brain comes from a human! Plus as the meme goes they worsip toasters
Starcraft actually started as a 40k property, but then there was a dispute that caused Blizz to decide to go solo on the project. Gears of War, Warcraft, Starcraft, and so much more are all mostly birthed from the Warhammer (40k and Age of Sigmar) properties, the same way Tolkein put a lot of old folk lore elements into his works from which most "high fantasy" was spawned.
Once you’re done with Pt2, Bricky’s also done two videos that I think you’d enjoy too. The first is a supplementary video he made after this 2-parter called “what army should you collect” that goes into the specific playstyles the armies use on the tabletop. Fantastic video that’s shorter than these two, but packed full of info about how someone plays these factions IRL. Second is his “every legion explained” where he talks about the 20 space marine legions before and after the Horus Heresy. Fantastic space marine lore.
Honestly if you want a feel of just how insane the imperium truly is I’d highly recommend listening to Hammer of the emperor Litany of fury Litany of hate They’re basically a voice over montage of quotes from warhammer games such as dawn of war and the like, all the while playing to the backdrop of Call of duty World at War final push soviet theme as it goes into a cascade of righteous and glorious quotes, such as the most famous one of them all ENEMIES OF THE IMPERIUM HEAR ME, YOU HAVE COME HERE TO DIE, THE IMMORTAL GOD EMPEROR IS WITH US AND WE ARE INVINCIBLE, HIS SOLDIERS WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN, HIS WAR MACHINES SHALL CRUSH YOU UNDER THEIR TREADS, HIS MIGHTY GUNS WILL BRING THE VERY SKY COME CRASHING DOWN UPON YOU, YOU CANNOT WIN😂😂
Maybe u noticed this but if not then i just point it out as Bricky read the first quote wrong. He said that the Emperer hade been on the throne for 100 years, If u read along with the quote thats 100 centuries so 10,000 years not 100 years. The Horus Heresy happened around the year 30,000 when the Empere was "killed" and placed on the throne so mankind has been without the Emperors direct leadership for a long time.
Thanks man. I love getting these comments because I don't get em that often. But when I do it reminds me that there are viewers out there who also have awesome taste.
There is a podcast I am enjoying called Isyander and Koda that does a really good job at crunching down a lot of lore into easily manageable pieces. All while being a healthy amount of comedy and simplicity.
"It's almost like space Warcraft meets Gears of War" Or the complete opposite with how both of those franchises were inspired by Warhammer Fantasy and 40K.
So, because Games Workshop loves money, they figured that there may be a market for these factions not just as tabletop miniatures but as something in an action figure scale. They've partnered with a couple different companies to make them, one of which is McFarlane Toys.
So Cadia was right next to this big warp rip into the demon realm, and for countless years they were the first line of defense against anything that came out of that hellish rip in space. Well I say the big bad of all the traitor legions decided to bulldoze their way out hell theough that rip and had to take our cadia on the way. one of the biggest battles in all of 40k lore. with cadians giving their all to hold chaos at bay, eventually their very planet could not hold up under the epic intensity of the battle being sundered and deatroyed. even as the brave men and woken of Cadia fought on. it is said the planer broke before her people did. imagine, to have your fighting spirit and bravery be so insane thar it held together better than your planet!
I usually don't watch people 'react' to stuff, and it's mostly because they deliver not much above circumventing copyright infringement at the best of times. I may very well be funnier watching them than they are watching others, and I say this as a German, our kind of humor is not a laughing matter. But you, man, your comments are killing me! I've had so much fun watching this, thanks for uploading!
45:00: There's six assassin temples, actually, but the other 2 aren't as visible and won't show up on an actual battlefield. - Venenum temple are specialists for use of tailored poisons and long-term infiltration. - Vanus temple are information gathering and analysis specialists, who at times support other assassins. When working alone, their niche is that their targets definitely don't die in, well, an assassination. Their targets die in random, tragic accidents that absolutely nobody could have foreseen, let alone arranged.
Hello, love your enthousiasm man, welcome into the grimdark ! Just one thing, your volume is maybe a bit too loud compared to bricky's, I struggle hearing him when I turn your voice to a normal volume, but I'm in the first quarter of your video so maybe you fixed that later. Anyway always good to see newcomers into this universe !
Warhammer fans may be a bit overzealous and a little odd, but you’ll find no community that cares more about someone else joining us. If you have any questions in these videos, please feel free to ask. ^^
I love that you said "It's almost like "Space WarCraft" meets Gears of War". Well, Starcraft, was actually supposed to be a Warhammer 40k game, but it got scrapped or well they lost the license, so they made their own thing HEAVILY inspired by Warhammer 40k.
Also reason cadia is such a pain is it was the main hub for guardsmen and they defend essentially against the warp home everyday. Abadon dropped a space station on it and cracked the planet in half so now the biggest bulwark is gone now. Battlefleet Gothic 2 prolog shows it pretty well
Another really good Warhammer lore channel, if less popular, is PancreasNoWork. Great channel with very entertaining videos. He does not just cover 40k, but also Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, which makes his videos rather unique.
There is a quote from a chaos space marine about the lazgun along the lines of this anyone who underestimate the lazgun has never charged through a line of 1000 of them
Welcome! Have you played yet? It is very in depth and technical. I started in 2020. Been hooked ever since. Painting and playing. Dark Angels and Ultramarines are my main two factions. Working on a Space Wolves army soon.
in one of the novels theres a space marine who gets invited to "work out" with a custodian. "just some light sparring", you know? he said as soon at the fight started all he could do is block and pray. the custodian was barely breaking a sweat and it was all the space marine could do to hang with him in a duel.
Being someone who got DEEP into 40k at the start of 2023, I love watching people find out about this amazing work of IP from GW. Especially when they learn that anyone, and everyone can roast Magnus for doing something wrong, or always defer to the black templars when racism needs to be weaponized.
I've only got one complaint about collecting adaptus mechanicus. After you build them and painting them which is hours upon hours of painstaking detail, storing them so all the fiddly little bits don't get broken off is the real hard part. Basically I have over 2,000 points of ad mech and every single model needs something either glued back on or replaced cuz it's just disappeared.
He missed a temple of the Offico Assassinorum. The Vanoss temple. Imagine the operator from the matrix manipulating information to have either someone else kill their target or have their target commit self deletion. They specialize in information gathering, psychology, logistics, hacking, strategy. They specialize in killing you with out actually having to be the trigger man and also not be detected as the puppet master.
Fact: The Emperor needs a thousand psykers to be sacrificed to him, their souls ripped from their bodies in a slow, agonizing process, every single day, for the Golden Throne to keep him alive. Thus, all planets are required to round up their psyker population, which will eventually be taken by the Black Ships back to Terra. These also serve as the recruitment ships for the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, the organization in charge of sanctioning psykers for use in the Imperial Guard, among other things. The Black Ships are also always guarded by a contingent of Sisters of Silence. Their pariah gene helps block and suppress psyker powers, so they’re invaluable when rounding up particularly destructive psykers.
This, by far, is the most extensive fictional universe in our human existence. A fictional universe who's rabbithole goes so deep as to seem never-ending. Where to start? Whatever you think is coolest. Once you start, everything else will become the next cool thing at some moment after.

Just to point out, the Imperium does not use Exterminatus on a whim, it's usually only used in the most dire of situations, when an Inquisitor or someone higher up deems that there is absolutely no hope for a world and its resources are totally lost.
I love when you went "So is he being held against his will" And my immadiate reaction was to like imagine you going "Emperor... blink once if you need help". xD
He didn't really cover it well in the mechanicus section, but their religion is essentially ritualized maintenance. They literally just turned things like "unplug it and plug it back in" into a religious rite. Its a funny and interesting way to preserve the ability to use technology while stripping the masses of the ability to understand gow it works. Its basically the reverse of the "any significantly advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" line.
first video of yours that I've found...and I'd like to say...Welcome to Warhammer! To put a little context in there, that little thing he mentioned in the beginning, The Horus Hersey. They finally decided to put what happened into novels. that started in 2006, and is now finally ending in 2024. It was 54 main novels, half as many novellas, like...18 individual novels for the primarchs, and then 9 novels just for the final battle in the solar system. Keep digging and enjoy, there is no bottom to the rabbit hole of Warhammer :D
27:30 Thats literally what it is...imagine instruction manuals as holy text, and you have the Ad-Mech..."Thou shalt give praise to the omnissiah as you toggle the swich, and low, the emergency system will activate."
Cadia, the planet, after millennia guarding a hole in the warp called the Eye of Terror was destroyed. You cry because as the planet broke up beneath their feet, the Cadians kept on fighting. Caria broke before the Cadians did.
Couple of major things left out: The Emperor: actually never wanted to be a god. In the Horus Heresy series he actually upheld the Imperial Truth which is the atheist philosophy that mankind only needs mankind and no gods (because the part he left out that there are beings of god-like power that want their souls and his goal was to free man from them by starving the gods through various means one being depriving them of worship). The god thing started because one of his traitor sons (Lorgar) wrote and founded the documents that would become the center of the Imperium's religion. It flourished during the heresy when all these daemons and devil-like beings started to murder everything during a rebellion started by Horus (the Emperor's "favorite" and warmaster) and upon being mortally wounded and the death of several of his sons including the Primarch Sanginius the Emperor's cult became a state religion. While he says he's not a god, he has god-like abilities from being practically immortal (he's been around since ancient times) to mind bullets that delete you from existence). The Emperor's body is broken, but he's still insanely powerful. Literally his mind is keeping the four Chaos Gods at bay. but he's wounds that broke his body and his shattered soul from the final fight in the Heresy has severally nerfed his power and the 1000-daily psyker sacrifice is the only thing keeping him alive which in turn is keeping the vast majority of the galaxy from being quickly overtaken by Chaos. Even in his broken state he's possibly doing things like creating his own versions of daemons which are things like the Legion of the Damned (ghostly, fire covered space marines that show up to wreck the enemy, take no damage from them and leave. No one is quite who they actually are, but guesses include things like the fallen marines from the Heresy too angry to stay dead) and Imperial Saints like Celestine (the Imperial version of Chaos daemon princes). Humanity didn't decide to become a superior race just out of the blue in the setting of 40K. That was started back before the Heresy when there was no official religion and by the Emperor. This was the Great Crusade: the effort to reclaim humanity's lost colonies from their first stellar empire and conqueror new worlds with the new Space Marine legions and the vast Imperial Army. This was a pretty bitchin' time for everyone not an alien (except Orks. They got a lot of fighting in) until a cunt named Erebus fucked it all up starting with the Primarch Lorgar. The other alien species are not peaceful or wanted peace...at all. You saw this in the next one, but fun fact there was a cabal (called the Cabal) of high ranking xenos from various factions and races that's entire purpose was the stopping of Chaos. They used immortals called perpetuals and other agents to do this which during the Heresy their goal was to ensure Horus won the civil war so humanity would go extinct. The idea was humanity was the cause of Chaos flourishing because of us being a new race that had good psychic potential and our thoughts, feelings and warmongering were feeding the Chaos Gods (nevermind you that the Eldar were the reason for Slaanesh's existence). The idea was if Horus won he'd fuck up the galaxy so badly with his dedication to the ruinous powers that humanity would burn out like lit fuel rather than a slow decay that would feed the gods even more and result in even more death. Sacrifice one to save the rest was the idea. Those giant skull mechs that are bigger than Knights are called Titans. Bricky glossed over them completely, but Mars has some of the biggest toys which are the Titan Legions. They're giant god-machines of varying heights from nimble Warhounds that act more as scout mechs the size of a mid-size Gundam to the giant Imperator Titans that are essential walking cathedrals with every gun available. They blare massive horns to sound their incoming attacks and use things like volcano cannons that melt armies like cotton candy in water. They operate like Knights and Space Marines meaning they'll have units more akin to houses or legions. Some of the worst are the Psi-Titans that are the power of a god-engine, but now it's got warp-fuckery.
18:08 "looks like a giant butt crack." You just offended almost every Single person who loves the empire lmao Luckily for me, I'm a heretic 😂 blood for the blood God! Skulls for the skull throne!! 😈😂
just a small note, the faction he mentioned in the beginning saying that he will not talk about (the Adeptus Arbites) are basically the imperium's space police or "simple" detective force (the more serious one being the Inquisition of course), so still an imperial faction but its more of a "lore" faction I would say, I don't think they are even present (or ever were) at the tabletop game and have almost an almost exclusive appearance in the books and perhaps a few of the digital games (none that I've played though). Think judge dread style but in a 40k setting :) love the reaction and video by the way! will definitely watch your part 2
The "Space warcraft" comment was quite interesting. Starcraft was originally going to be a game based on Warhammer 40k, but GW didn't like what Blizzard was doing, so withdrew the license. Blizzard did some quick messing around and changed things to remove the 40k stuff, and Starcraft was born.....
Regarding the Custodes being able to take on at least 3 Space Marines and win. Bricky night actually be selling them very short as It took 16 berserk World Eaters to bring down a Custodian Prefect once
I have to defend the Inquisitorial motto, with warp Chaos in the universe this sentence is really true, since even people with nice and sincere intentions can be passively manipulated by the warp creatures and their servants into becoming unknowing accomplices or later even cultists themself.
Cheers man Enjoyed watching along with this. 40k is such a fun universe to read about I don't play the tabletop but I read the books and the lore all the time. Every time I think I know a lot about it all something comes along that I've never heard about its hilarious.
Little correction on Bricky: 1.000 *_Psychers_* are sacrificed, per day. Not people. Billions die across the galaxy every day: whatever. The "Astronomicon" the Emperor powers ,"that North star in Hell", is the choir of thousands of highly psychicly resonant people's tortured death scream. This has been going on for 10K years and the Emperor has suffered endless soul shattering death and rebirth for as long. Good times.
If you wanna know more about Cadia Specifically, the Templin Intitute has made an amazing and inspiring video about it. The Planet broke before the Guard!
Funny story about the Iron Striders that the Mechanicus can't turn off: the Tech-Priest that made them? The Mechanicus put him to death for tech-heresy.
"Is it worst than Berserk" Berserk is like a bonfire that you dump gasoline in. While Warhammer is like executing exterminatus on that bonfire because an Eldar child made it.
Hey I just discovered your channel, I wanted to play bannerlord while listening but man now it's been 1 hour and I'm still watching I really apprecieted your enthousiasm and your react. As you asked at the end I suggest some constructive feedback : - Really good vibe and humour - communicative enthusiasm - the volume of the video may be a little low compared to yours - Sometimes it might be a good idea to pause the video when you're commenting because it's difficult to understand both voices at the same time (I'm autistic so maybe it's just me), and it would give you time to elaborate on your personal thoughts, I'm sure it could be even more intresting, the video would be longer but I just subscribed so you can make more parts and I'll watch it ^^ Thank you for your work, hope you will succeed !
Avid Enjoyer of the Adeptus Mechanicum: Random cool fact that also Bricky enjoys They have these Massive chicken walker platforms that a very re-known Tech Priet Magos found the STC and built He later died and the STC Lost, The future and current Magos are so scared to turn them off that they might break, they put them in giant hamster wheels and wrangle them like battle cattle when needed.

A great reaction to a glimpse of this galaxy. I've been collecting since '89 (2nd edition tabletop) & the amounts of lore & stories are ridiculous! They take legend, myths & history from all across the World. As to who is the best faction... Whomever you think are the coolest. & the Orks. Everyone has to just Love the Orks. You'll see why in the next video 😂
You just open the door and there is a meltagun in your face and you hear"Have you heard of your lord and Savior....The Emperor", hopefully your smart enough to say yes haha
The funny thing is that Starcraft (one of blizzard's old RTS games) was supposed to be a WH40K game that got rejected. Warcraft is basically inspired by 40K/
Down the rabbit hole. I discovered warhammer 40k lore about a year ago. I probably watched at least 100hrs of lore videos without even playing the game. The interesting thing about the Emperor is that he did everything possible to rid the thought of god from the mind of humanity, only to be apotheosized after he had no way of stopping it.
I've been doing Warhammer for my entire adult life, so I'm glad you're enjoying this journey! If you're enjoying ridiculous but aweseome tabletop game lore, check out the tex Taljs Battletech series!
56:20 The Emperor doesn't demand all the psyker-souls. It's more that the Golden Throne that keeps him "alive" is 10000 years old and falling into disrepair, nobody knows how it works to repair it, and thus the sacrifices became necessary to keep the Emperor alive. The Emperor can't object, since he's "dead", and nobody wants the "Lighthouse in the Warp" to go out because then the Imperium is crippled since there is no other way to travel Faster Than Light but through the Warp. And if you if you don't have that lighthouse, you still can go into the Warp, but since you don't know where you are, you just pop out whereever, with some distorted time to boot. It's another "necessary evil" due to lack of alternatives.
Man this world is INSANE and I LOVE IT! Be sure to smash that LIKE button. I'll react to part 2 as soon as we hit 1K LIKES!

His original goal was to unite all of mankind under one banner and instil the "Imperial Truth" which was a doctrine of science, understanding and research so you can only imagine how he must hate what his empire became after he was sealed into the Golden Throne and the High Lords of Terra took over and started to "interpret his will".
"Go back to Redditt, Neckbeard!" - Horus as he stabbed the Emperor.
"It's like Space Warcraft"
Yeh, there's a reason for that.
Starcraft was, originally, going to be a Warhammer 40K game.
No it was not, Blizzard never wanted to make a Warhammer game, they just took inspiration.
@@TheOneWhoSometimesSaysOkit was, the had a cooperation until GW decided that they didn't like the design and wouldn't invest. Starcraft was made because the company didn't waste the development.
@@CarinaKeKzNo that's still wrong. It was never supposed to be a 40k game. Warcraft was but not Starcraft.
Please stop sharing this misinformation.
God I love me a Bricky 40k reaction that isn't just someone nodding along for an hour whilst maybe saying "wow" once or twice.
Great content man!
its a nice change if you are used to seeing the vtuber reactions xd

"A plea of Innocence is guilty of wasting my time. GUILTY!" - Inquisitor Fyodor Karamazov
I love that Salamanders are at the same time the most humane and nice while using the worst weapons for civilians (flame throwers,...)
In the 40k universe, death by fire is akin to mercy
Laughs in life-eater virus. And then again in demon-engine. Lol
Fun fact they also love melta weapons. If a melta weapon is being used indoors a normal huma would die because it also emmits toxic gas... Seems also not a nice way of dying
Unless you're an eldar child. Then you get to have a spicy makeout session with napalm
The Space Marines armor is so vibrant for the sole purpose of letting the enemy know who was responsible for killing them.
I hope.
As for the "innocence proves nothing" bit, here's some context:
It goes along the lines of "If you're innocent, then you're guilty of wasting everyone's time."
It's kind of gaslighting-ish, but definitely sounds badass. Everyone *is* the villain after all.
Inquisitors get the best lines. Eisenhorn's classic "My patience is not limitless, unlike my authority." Stands out
It makes more sense when you're routing out heresy. Unwilling pawns who truly are unaware of what they're doing could cause a chaos incursion from being influenced by daemons so their innocence and ignorance can truly be harmful.

This is a myth. Starcraft took some visual inspiration from 40K, but was never meant to be licensed.
Oh wow, thx for that
Honestly if you want a feel of just how insane the imperium truly is I’d highly recommend listening to
Hammer of the emperor
Litany of fury
Litany of hate
They’re basically a voice over montage of quotes from warhammer games such as dawn of war and the like, all the while playing to the backdrop of
Call of duty World at War final push soviet theme as it goes into a cascade of righteous and glorious quotes, such as the most famous one of them all
ENEMIES OF THE IMPERIUM HEAR ME, YOU HAVE COME HERE TO DIE, THE IMMORTAL GOD EMPEROR IS WITH US AND WE ARE INVINCIBLE, HIS SOLDIERS WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN, HIS WAR MACHINES SHALL CRUSH YOU UNDER THEIR TREADS, HIS MIGHTY GUNS WILL BRING THE VERY SKY COME CRASHING DOWN UPON YOU, YOU CANNOT WIN😂😂
I recomend Fleshworks, absolutely brilliant novel. One of the best books (not just 40K) ive ever read.
“They’re like destructive Jehovah Witnesses!” 😂 best description I’ve heard so far
You’re reactions to 40k are more entertaining than most. Keep it up!

"ALL DORK'S, GEEK'S & NERD'S OF THE WORD UNITE!"

The reaction to sanguinius being a fancy hors d'oeuvre got me
That blinking spiderman made me question my sanity
in one of the novels theres a space marine who gets invited to "work out" with a custodian. "just some light sparring", you know? he said as soon at the fight started all he could do is block and pray. the custodian was barely breaking a sweat and it was all the space marine could do to hang with him in a duel.
really enjoyed your take on this, and that you've got the hots for the machine god
"Space Warcraft with Gears Of War" is an excellent take on my first 4 years of hammering.
This, by far, is the most extensive fictional universe in our human existence.
A fictional universe who's rabbithole goes so deep as to seem never-ending.
Where to start? Whatever you think is coolest. Once you start, everything else will become the next cool thing at some moment after.
Dont forget brother about the "Father of all titans" with self aware AI corrupted by Chaos
Just to point out, the Imperium does not use Exterminatus on a whim, it's usually only used in the most dire of situations, when an Inquisitor or someone higher up deems that there is absolutely no hope for a world and its resources are totally lost.
I love when you went "So is he being held against his will" And my immadiate reaction was to like imagine you going "Emperor... blink once if you need help". xD
When he's talking about guardsmen charging enemy lines it was heresy that he didn't mention the death corpse of kreig
Couple of major things left out:
The Emperor: actually never wanted to be a god.
Your blinking spiderman keeps throwing me off, brah!😂

just a small note, the faction he mentioned in the beginning saying that he will not talk about (the Adeptus Arbites) are basically the imperium's space police or "simple" detective force (the more serious one being the Inquisition of course), so still an imperial faction but its more of a "lore" faction I would say, I don't think they are even present (or ever were) at the tabletop game and have almost an almost exclusive appearance in the books and perhaps a few of the digital games (none that I've played though).
Think judge dread style but in a 40k setting :)

I thought I was having a stroke when I caught spiderman blinking

If I had to choose a human faction to be thrust into, I’d be a rogue trader.
You gotta react to people like "wes hammer" or "isaynder and koda " they do some amazing deep dives with great detail
This was such an incredible vid. Love it man. Instant sub
Its funny you mention Todd MacFarlane and Image comics, as Todd MacFarlane toys makes a line of 40k action figures.
