I have about 30 of these that, over the years have, have found storage in a big garbage bag tangled to oblivion. This video inspired me to spend some time last night untangling all of them and organizing them into 5gal buckets by length. I use them all the time so this way of storing them was super helpful, thanks.
I've been using a similar method for a while now, but found that undoing it when the strap goes through the ratchet slot twice is a little challenging. If you go UNDER the ratchet barrel the first time, then through the ratchet slot the second time, you still get the same clamping action, but it's much easier to release.
Finally a “easy to follow” instructional and “centered on” video for the viewers!
I appreciate it!
Awesome. Took me a few minutes on the first one, but the next couple were a piece of cake. Nice tight little bundle.
Thanks for sharing this.
Glad it worked out for you!
Absolutely worth the watch. I'll be doing it this way from now on.
Glad it worked for you!

Awesome to hear! I bet that feels nice to have them organized and ready to deploy.
once I bought a new set cause I couldn't bother opening the bag of oblivion lmao I get you
Two words: WOW,THANK-YOU! No more trying to straighten out my ratchets. Perfect
You're welcome! Glad it worked out for you!
Omg thank you. Been wishing I’d taken a picture of them in the packet before using. Super easy to learn and remember. Champ!
You're welcome! Hope it helped!
You have just saved me one zip tie for each strap I've rewound. No more zipties. Thanks.
Zip tie heaven will thank you.
Very clever, easy and convenient. Thanks!
Welcome! Glad I figured it out after all these years!
Favorite method I’ve seen. Thanks

Oh I'll have to try that. Thanks!
Worked perfectly!!! Thanks
Welcome! Glad it worked!
I do the long strap as you do then use a velcro strip on it, leaving the ratchet loose. Next time I'm going to try this.
Let me know how you like it
Great method! Will give it a try!
Hope you like it!
Amazing and able to see it!
Great! I'm glad I have this as a reference if I forget :-)
Random video addresses my new straps I got yesterday, go figure. Trying it out now.
Hope it works well for you!
This looks great, how about the deployment with this method?
It's much easier than untangling. Just hook and release the ratchet.
Excellent
Thanks. Hope it worked for you!
Will try it tomorrow
Awesome! I want to know if it works well for you!
@@KylersStudio only for storage. If they are used every day not the way to go
works perfectly with my J hook strap... thanks
Glad it worked!
Dude, thanks.
Hope it works for you!

Part of my religion.
Excellent!
Thanks! Hope it helps!
Brilliant!
Thanks! Hope it helps!!
Thanks
Sure thing!
I little fiddly and time consuming for my taste. But this does look the best method if you really want the straps to never fall out of the wrap.
Yes but you either fiddle with it to put it away or fiddle with untangling them when you need them. Like making your bed.
Do it with the big yellow ones next,
Sure thing. Seems like the same technique would work.
Way too difficult to follow along without your daughter. I’m going back to the other video.
Haha awesome. Hope it worked for you!
LoL
How to take a 20 second process and stretch it into 4 minutes. Go figure.
Hope that made it easy to follow along.
Honestly, junior, how precious is yout time, truly, if you took the time to make this comment? 😂
