I had the g13 but gears went out after 7 months, I just got the Triple 7, the last one at Amain. Are they pretty durable? The programing is optional so i might get that in a few. 3bros though they really honor the warranty, it's a good company.
Haven’t tried 4S voltage but I’m currently running 3S voltage on my 777. It’s currently in my Bomber and is powered directly from the battery to the servo through the balancing cable. My Bomber is setup for crawling so she’s a heavyyyy girl. The 777 has INSANE speed & torque on 3S. My Bomber doesn’t see graceful dirt much. Just a lot of unforgiving rock. The 777 has no problem with it either. That servo pushes my brass-knuckled 2.2s around effortlessly. I also have a REEFS HD dual-clamp horn on it. I think I’ll snap rod-ends, steering arms and/or other steering components before the 777 ever sees harm. I’ve got the RAW 500 forward-mounted in my TRX-4.(another heavy girl) I run 3S on my TRX-4 too but the servo is powered through a CC BEC set at 8.4 volts. Let me tell you...RAW 500 is no slouch either!
Does the triple 7 have to run off of 14 volts? Just until the B,E,C, is in? I'm sure it would not have the amount of power... Just wondering I don't need anything that strong I was thinking the triple 4 or a raw 500, for trx6... Whatcha Think?
How did u power the servo, separate lipo? straight to esc? I have the castle creations 2.0 wp with holmes hobbies bypass adapter and I'm trying to figure out how to wire it all together
Bypass adapter is only for powering from the esc. Direct power with jst, like exo said is all you need…but it depends on what servo you have…direct power 12v or more or 8.4v and under.
It was kind of a fad from years ago, then people went too far and they got dumb. I've seen them save motors in roll overs though. sometimes not having one will allow the RC to roll backwards back onto the tires and keep going.
Quick question if you could. Just ordered a 777 for the trx6 I have coming. What servo horn should I get? I thought I could just use the traxxas metal horn like I do in my trx4. Someone mentioned a larger screw for the 777 so now I am not sure.
Those 3 bros servos, I'm kinda disappointed with. A lot of people seem to be stripping the internal gears, me included, got some "upgraded gears " from them but still failed. End points adjusted and everything
Awesome upgrade and love the truck! Still looks awesome and still crawls like a champ!
Couldn't agree more this thing is still a serious contender without a doubt!
Optimus 2 making it look easy. Nice driving!
Thanks 👍
when is the servo test coming you have done all the other Reefs servo test but not this one
I did do a test on it, put it on the tester and everything, it went well over 1000oz, I think it hit 1400oz on the inner hole.

I like the 777 servo enough to run 3 of them in comp trucks.

Oh man I know, I have both of them too on several trucks, the raw500 is fast enough to race with and powerful enough for crawling.
It would be fun to see a night rock crawl. Your backyard is awesome!
I've wanted to do that just haven't had time and summers are so hot even into the evening.
I need to invest in a TRX 4 😅
it is alot of fun, but I enjoy my xmaxx more

straight 3s is where its at for this servo, 4s will void warranty.
Does the panhard bar drop down bend on this?

Nice💯
I love my triple 7 and glad I pulled the trigger after seeing your first review back when it came out thanks again. Keep the coming
Why don't people run stingers on thier rock crawlers?
It was kind of a fad from years ago, then people went too far and they got dumb. I've seen them save motors in roll overs though. sometimes not having one will allow the RC to roll backwards back onto the tires and keep going.
Still probably my favourite truck on the channel
yeah man it just runs so well

For me I’ve found that the Tekno servo horn for the ebuggy works best and keeps geometry right. bit.ly/3m6E9Wf
@@ExocagedRC Hey thanks a lot for the reply and the effort in linking the part. Ordered from your link, have a great day.

This one lasted really well, won a series with it but the new owner seems to have given it the perfect bump and took them out.
That is a awesome truck.
6:53 ... I hate it when you’re driving along and all of a sudden, you turn off “The driver mod”! ~;+}> Radio???
LOL yeah I am kinda bummed about that, the truck was doing great, my mod button got bumped and we all see what happened.
Nice truck. I’ve been thinking of trying one of the after market dig units on my TRX4 Sport but haven’t seen much on them. Thoughts?
I haven't messed with any of them.
Why did you end up selling Optimus 2??
Because I built Optimus 3
Awe YEA my favorite rig is back!!!! Did you buy it back?
No I have Optimus 3 so this one has to go back to the new owner.
