Hey, I saw a claim in the general crawlers section that states 902oz/in for the Savox 2290 run@ 8.4 volts on a 14amp Castle BEC. Watching your videos on servo tests, I find the to be way overstated, but can it hit 777? Interesting, hmmmm.... it’s not rated for 8.4v but that servo is indestructible. Sorry to get off topic, but my curiosity is killing me. I’d rather have a 777 if they are truly waterproof and just as bombproof. Quiet and no BEC necessary.
Do your competitors simply pack and go home when you arrive at a crawling competition? That Capra of yours is simply unearthly in its abilities. And your command of the 4W steering is nothing short of scary. It's like there's arachnid DNA in your blood.
Hi, your channel is very enjoyable ! Great content ! I am getting Futaba HPS-A700 servo for my Traxxas Trx4. I want to pair it with the Hobbywing Combo-XERUN-AXE540-2300KV-FOC-V1.1. Would you be able to advise if there will be external BEC required?
@@ExocagedRC yea I was curious if one can use the ar60's on the Optimus 3 platform and not have any link,driveline interference issues but looks like the Optimus chassis has multiple links mounts thanks for the reply
I love how quiet it is. I'm waiting on a bunch of parts to fix all the slop in my trx6 steering that is ready to fall apart after running the 777 on some rocks.
You’ll probably need a new front axle too. Get a metal one up front because it is stressed at that one place when steering and I cracked mine with a good servo years ago. Never looked back since.
Dave Klein good advice. I figured as much when I diagnosed the problem so I’m waiting on a metal axle, chubs, and portal steering inner cover. I don’t want to load up my front end with weight though because I do drive this thing 25mph through terrain and don’t want to over stress other parts.
Exocaged: Is there any way possible for you to do a tutorial of how us capra kit owners can use a different dig servo on our capra's instead of the crappy 1 that's "supposed to" be used? (Since they are non-existent til next month! 😱🤷♂️🤦♂️🤯)
I never saw your Bec install on the 444 an 555 servos..is their a vid I can see on that bec install..i dont recall.u installing...what bec did you install for the 2 servos.. an love to see wire diagram
Lol! Strongest ... not really The a700 has the 777 beat and the a700 hasn’t had major failures like the 777 I have seen multiple of my friends that have blown up these servos. Not to mention reefs hasn’t provided a patent number for the case... at least at this point in may 2020

I’m actually working on a buddies Capra and it’s got rear steer. It’s kind of a basket case at this point but I’ll get it sorted out.

oh yeah it sure would, the better option may be the RAW500 as it would simply plug in and go.
Once I went to their website I seen that servo so I think I'm going to go with that one appreciate your info and keep up the awesome videos!

I am 4 wheel steering my capra, i upgraded the esc, is a bec necessary?
with two servos, the only esc I know of that can safely power that is the Castle Mamba X
Exocaged RC i bought a hobby wing 1080, so would you tap a 10a bec in or use bypass wiring?
Maybe you should look into a flat belly skid?
What are you going to do with the 444 and the 555? I know I could absolutely use one in my truck . Can't afford new ones
the 444 already has a home and the 555 has a spot in another soon to be truck

I'm not sure if I ever made a bec wiring video. its easy to do with a Holmes bypass adaptor.

Strongest I've used and I have yet to see one break in person. Anything can break.
