Setting up my NEW [ 8ft ] 240 GALLON FRESHWATER AQUARIUM!!
In this video I’m finally setting up my 240 gallon freshwater aquarium! This tank is 8ft x 2ft x 2ft and is a total beast! I decided to go for a natural look when it came to decor. For the background I used a window film instead of paint. This was a very fun and tedious video to make. But I believe the outcome made it all worth it! I truly hope you all enjoy this video! Nice job on putting that tank up on the stand by yourself like a boss! I did that when I set up my 300 gallon. I had no patience so I did not want to call anyone or bug my neighbors. Its sketch doing it that way but it I got done. After pushing it from garage to living room on the dam carpet. Your stand looks great!

It’s always awesome watching someone start up a super sized tank.. later this year I need to upsize my MBU into its forever home and I’m excited for that. In the meantime I have to get my kicks from aquarists like yourself. The stand you have created is marvellous and I love the woodgrain it’s striking in its own right..

I really love your passion for fish bro, only those who love fish will always care for having a clean tank and providing the best care for the fish 🙂, I can sit in front of my 125g for over an hour and just look at my fish while drinking some coffee..☕️ it relaxes me and helps me forget about a heartbreak..

Thank you for your support and feedback bro! It was a challenge getting that tank up there but between experience with lifting heavy ish by myself at a previous job and my girl helping me get the tank into position behind the scenes, the lifting part was easier than it looked.
And I appreciate the compliment on the Stand. I’m definitely proud of that. First stand I’ve ever built and it’s the best one so far. 💯

Just wanted to say your a beast man, moving that alone and using garbage cans to fill the tank instead of 5 gal buckets. Also nice job with the rock work, I'm usually not a fan of chiclid tanks because I usually don't like the scap, but you did a nice job with it

You’re right about that. Acrylic tanks are definitely lighter than glass tanks. But they’re more expensive and they scratch easy.
