Bristol Duty Free - Any good Whisky offers?

I have been away for a couple of weeks in the run out to Glasgow Whisky Festival so will try to drop a couple of videos from my travels.

I would pick up the glenlivet 12
A very underrated bottle, have you tried the 15? That for me is the best Glenlivet core bottle in my books. Cheers

Balblair is a distillery that has passed me by sadly and something I need to correct. I was tempted but sadly it was not for internal flights. Cheers

Sadly not. The small section with the Penderyn, Jura etc is UK internal only. I was meant to chuck in a caption 🤣 enjoy browsing today mate
Travel retail equals slim pickings as usual. I usually end up with the 1 Litre offerings like Ardbeg 10 or Laphroaig PX finish. Most of the stuff is uninteresting to whisky folk like us because we can buy it all day long any time.
Pretty dire choices there Jeff sadly. In terms of a bargain though, the Tyrconnell single malt for £19? get it! it is light, but its creamy and lemony and its 43%
Funny enough I have had the Tyrconnell since and found it very much similar to PVA glue?? Fingers crossed duty free sorts themselves out soon!
@@JeffWhisky oh dear that doesn't sound good! It's a note you can sometimes get with whiskies and not necessarily bad but that doesn't sound good if you found it to be just that!

It really was limp. I think there was about 5 different bottles that I could buy as was on an internal flight. Glasgow had a little bit better selection at least! Cheers!
That is a pretty awful selection, and it is quite big. Price wise also dire. I never pay more than €18 for Connemara (the wife drinks it).... 😂
Bristol airport is crap, so I seriously doubt there is any good or out of the ordinary choices there.
