Fabulous tune! It's got the grease ;-)
So I clicked on the link for the tab after giving you my email address...and was pissed to see only about one minute of tab, then "click here to learn more". You don't get more of the song, you get an ad to buy a blues lesson. That sucks.
Thanks for the lesson. I figured it out by watching and hearing. You weren’t clear enough for me in terms of notes, rather than tabs, and also on the AA B and turn sections. But, I did learn something.
Okay, like many youtube videos, the 2nd and 3rd time you run through, (for me it was today), you get the whole picture much clearer. Thanks again. FYI, I'll be virtual jamming on Chitllins tonight around 8PM, and I feel ready to comp, play the melody, combine both, and solo..
Excellent lesson! Thanks. New subscriber.

in my jazz ensmdble class we only play f7 and g7 not any 9's fof this song
This is it.
1:34 When you move it down???????
Good Stuff, Didnt know Tom Petty did UA-cam lessons =P
He's free fallin'
doesn't it sound a lot like Black Magic Woman or am I crazy ? I think Carlos stole one, bravo for him
You are crazy not giving credit to the original perfomer/ writer Peter Green 😉
I learned that song 30 years ago in about 2 minutes playing to the album.
that alone is a lost art .. learning a song without utube.
I agree with that, but youtube is a great learning tool so why not use it? In fact, you are using it 😄
@WileECoyotey. It didn’t take you long to learn to be a prick either. What a waste of nostalgia. I learned it off the original record before Stevie Ray Vaughan released it and then I copied his version using his voicing, so there. Nah nah nah nah nah! That’s how childishly moronic you sound. You must be from Texas, you’d get your smug ass kicked in New Mexico with that attitude, they teach respect there real quick. I just f’n with you ol’ boy!
UA-cam is great for learning different ideas. I know how to make great enchiladas but I love going to youtube for fresh ideas. In fact it’s the only thing I use the computer for más o menos. Dig?
@Guitar Control Good answer, good class. Maturity is also a lost art.
Using both good, we can learn the theory here and develop a good idea by tying to play by ear
Which is that Beautiful Guitar anybody!!!???😊😋🤗
Gibson 335 I think
really? You learned it from Jimi Hendrix?
You "first learned the chord from Jimi Hendrix"? He gave you a lesson? That's a little hard to believe as you look to be about 12.
Hendrix himself said that he was influenced by Kenny Burrell.
