7 months later a tradie came to service our awnings. He had been living in a caravan since with no power. He only got his house roof fixed and power restored the day he came to us.
Several first responders lived in the worst hit areas were down helping our suburb, even though their own homes were badly damaged. What heroes.

In some locations yes, fortunately not in the area they were in. But i was in robina when we got the direct storm hit! so windy!
