Truly. I could listen to Meg talk for hours. Don, is an absolute added bonus to Cozy Tea Time. Is it enjoyable to see/ hear Meg, and he playing off of one another. They truly compliment each other. Love them both. ♥♥

Hi Mr Don and Ms Meg! I am having just an ordinary black tea with a little milk.
I never found a four leaf clover. I looked and looked and looked.
I also believed in magic as a child. Now I know the real magic is: the smile of a friend, the laughter of a child, a nice memory that comes to mind, a sunny warm day, or even a mug with little birds, a nice handle and (my favourite colour) blue on the inside!
Well, creative works can be pretty magical, and Meg's had a lot of involvement with those! 👍

Fascinating to hear your thoughts on winning awards & working with Matt Dillon. I think it's great you spent so much time outdoors with your siblings growing up. I think it helps people become more well rounded & more in tune with nature. Man, I never could find any four leaf clovers during recess in elementary school and I would always be a bit jealous how other kids could find them so quickly. Meg, you are so humble and that's one of your many traits that makes you so likeable 😁
Hmm, maybe some demented scientist could genetically modify the clovers, so that more people could have good luck! 🤔🤪 Those other kids were probably lying like rugs, anyway! 🤣

Agnes of God has been one of my favorite films for nearly 40 years now. You, Jane Fonda, and Anne Bancroft are perfection. The film isn't perfect, but you all made the film so engrossing. And TEX!! I saw so many of your early films in the theater... One Dark Night, Psycho 2, Big Chill!

Hi Meg- having Don come to the teatimes is really nice and zhuuzhes up the format! Your energy seems so much lighter and I hope it’s a combo of seeing your family, the waning of Covid and getting more comfortable as you ‘get out there.’ Being a scaredy-cat through the pandemic, I finally ventured over the border to Vancouver and it was absolutely stunning with all the flowers and cherry trees in full bloom! Life is good…! Question: have you ever done a documentary or true-life film? If yes, can you tell us your experience and if not, is there a cause that’s near and dear to your heart that you would lend your voice and star power to?

Some years ago, Drew Barrymore made a film in my area, and I was impressed that people had nothing but nice things to say about her, and then a friend of mine met her when he worked in L.A. and, again, I heard about how cool she is. Now, us TeaTimers have gotten the chance to feel like we really know Meg Tilly, and I'll talk Meg up to anybody! LOL! Maybe Matt should take note! my only interaction w matt dillon was on the phone in the 1980s, & he was sweet and unassuming tho he did not know who i was. i hoped he’d win the oscar for crash because i’d considered it his finest work. (from a mutual friend (the one he was calling when i picked up the phone) i know something bad about him that i wouldnt share, but he still seemed sweet to me. i do love his interest in cuban artists/musicians)

The Two Jakes was just on tv, & I saw that the actor James Hong was in it, too. Boy, has he been around! He has been in so many movies & tv shows, including Bat Masterson, which I watched as a little girl. Did you get to know him a bit? What was it like to work with him? Any good stories? I have asian-american actor friends, and we’ve spoken often about how hard it is to get work, so it’s nice to see ones who do so well.

May I say, what a treat it is to have mr Calame with you. The dynamic is lovely and I found my self giggling a long with you both.
Incidentally, unbeknownst to me, I read one of mr Calame books not so long ago; “ Swim the Fly” I think. I don’t know if I was the right demographic, but I did enjoy it. In fact, I laughed out loud on occasion.

I'm in my 60s, and I am learning some music on the piano that I wish I had tackled yesrs ago! I worked for over 46 years in Church music; now I get to play what I want! 😊
Enjoy your music: there is no "too late!" I worked in Church and Synagogue music for over 45 years. I taught piano and organ. Now I am in your age group, and am finally learning pieces I wish I'd tackled years ago - for me, and for sheer enjoyment. No pressure!
@@derherrvonhabenichts7462 That's GREAT for you! I can play a LITTLE bit of "Man's Desiring" (which I always thought was a funny name for a churchy song, but who knows what Johann was thinking!...). Honestly though, I've always loved big church organ sounds, and really got hooked on those sounds by people like Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman... I can see now why you love your mug & what you've meant B4 abt. the handle's shape/size being just right while writing. I love the simple design & Robin's Eggshell Blue inside, & even tho the birds are on a tree limb--I get a mind's ear of Leonard Cohen humming Bird on a Wire when I see the design (like on juice cups that time). Felt lots of tenderness for the sweet young artist/actor you described--I hope he watches this some day so he knows you sooo appreciated the time he invested, his longing & his gracious congratulations. Awards can be complicated, eh? Don--it so warms my ❤️when you say you read all the comments & how much you both value them--thanks for that. Meg's rendition of your 'no-sound' laugh reminds me of Uncle Albert's in Mary Poppins/"I love to Laugh" scene (there's a great, fun, laughter-inducing song to sing w/the grands) Lastly--when you find the 4-leaf clover--mark the area/phone photo it--I read the 4-leaf is a mutation & so more mutations will come in that same area--you can even dig one up w/roots/give it to your friend as potted plant. I have a Parking Fairy who finds me legal parking spots w/minimal searching--no reason you can't ask for/receive a 4-Leaf Clover Fairy visit while you pretend to sunbathe!

Hi Meg. What are your memories from the Movie Impulse? The scene wherein Jennifer was trapped in the truck, her plea of tears was quite moving. I never forgot it.
