Just before watching this (as an absolute GB beginner) I watched your overall tutorial on GB, and loved it. This video completes the picture, keying us into the use of loops instead of (or in addition to) GB's built-in instruments. Very succint and very valuable. Thanks a mill! :-)
Thanks Dan. I am still shocked you don't have more subscribers. Your content is up there as one of the best on UA-cam. Maybe you need to be more vocal about asking viewers to subscribe. There's enough other content deliverers that shill the hell out of their channel and other uploads they have.
Thank you Dan! Great videos on GarageBand. I was not sure to take my ipad on vacation... now that I’ve seen yr demos I have no more doubts😝✨ great job👍✨
I’m planning on using Live Loops to help play around with ideas, but I ran into a couple of snags. First, no MIDI Panic button for AUv3 instruments. One of them ended up hanging after playback more often than not. Another thing is that Merge Recording is not available in this mode. it would be nice to have the option to continually record with this function until done. And while I’m at it, it would be nice to copy the entire column into another, so as to go into the individual loops that I want to edit or delete, while opting to leave the rest unchanged. Finally, hope that it’ll have scenes like Maschine and Ableton, where I can pick any loops (of course, one loop per track) to use as intro, verse, chorus, etc. All that said, looks promising and I’m hoping that improvements/additions will be made. BTW, awesome video demo as always.
Thank you for the very good videos but I have run into one problem that I haven’t found on anybody’s video yet I want to make a hypnosis video with background music and my voice and it will run a long time is there anyway that I can do an infinite program instead of just pushing that Add Add. Add Add to lengthen the edit. I would like to continue on it till I am finished and then push a stop button. And is there any way I can make say a 16 bar music track and get it to repeat to the end without having to do it over and over for the whole thing. If its possible do you have a video on that or could you make one or reply in a comment. Thank you for your videos and your time to make replys
Ok. I found how to do this when you go to a new song and pick their instrument you then click on the plus sign at the right hand side of the timeline and where it says ADD you do not tap on the ADD you tap on the arrow pointing to the right beside the ADD > And a box comes up with AUTOMATIC and MANUAL pick AUTOMATIC and it will keep on going till you finish.

Can interapp audio be used to record on the cells?
Jorge Miranda yes they can. I use the boom 808 and DM1 drum machine apps. Super fun.
