This is awesome! Coming from 40k it's really cool to see a format like Auspex Tactics covering Bolt Action. I know his videos got me into 40k and I know your video's are helping me understand Bolt Action! Thanks!
@@HollywoodWargaming with how confusing wargames can be at times it's very nice to have a simplistic video showing strengths, weaknesses and how to apply them. Thanks for providing that!
Just got the 251/9 Stummel to supplement/replace my Brummbar if I go down from my 1250 point platoon to 1000 games. And to add I got a SdKfz 234/2 Puma as a Armor car so a light tank would be a little redundant for my regular Grenadiers
So I have a bit of Bolt Action minis painted up, but instead of playing Bolt Action, I plan to make a WWII version of Star Wars Legion. Have you ever thought of that? And how do you think a conversion like that would go?
I have been thinking about this myself lately. I think I’d have a Rock Paper Scissors mechanic going with the cards instead of pips and Each faction would get a main hand of 3 based on their faction (ie German) with 3 other unique cards based on their list type (ie Luftwaffe or SS)
Awesome Video but i think it lacks the mationing of the sdkfz. 250 counterparts. As an example, the Standart 250 is cheaper and way better for small squods or the 250/9 is way better in comparison to the 251/23 because it is not Open topt for 5 Points less.
Yes Easy Army didn’t state that but I think I saw something along those lines somewhere. Good to know, though I don’t find it a particularly good upgrade.
@@HollywoodWargaming It does state it in Easy Army in the SdKfz 251/1 options section. There are three option boxes to chose from. The first option is for the rear MMG. The next two are for the Panzerbusche 41. (Copy and pasted from Easy Army SdKfz 251/1 entry.) Most of the negative of the 251/9 is taking up the tanks lot. How is the 251/9 for a Tank Platoon (Tank Wars), where it does NOT take up your tank slot and skirts around the minimum vehicles issue a tank platoon normally carries?
Very useful. Thanks. Am I right in thinking that it's possible to build the 251/1 (instead of the 251/10) in the BoB set? I know the booklet instructs you to build the PAK36 but I could simply use the included mmg, right?

The bolt action community needs people like you, especially for a wargame that’s relatively static
No kidding, wish they had a better “sales plan”. No one has heard of
It at the game stores I go to

Yeah, Auspex is my British 40k counterpart. Very similar production styles. Idk maybe it’s just the white background

This is the greatest thing I could have gotten to celebrate Cinco De Mayo
I dont even play bolt action, but its still interesting to watch this stuff.

Really useful and thought provoking video. Loving your work. Keep it up 👍
I'm looking at some for Tank War. I think the mortar might be useable here because you have to include a transport/tow for all fixed

Oh wow, just found your channel. It is simply wonderful. Thank you so much!
Nice video, I most like the idea to do anything on that chassis. Looking forward to the next video.
YES!!
I’m interested to hear your thoughts on the 250 Neu Halftrack and when its variants are preferable to the 251

That’s it’s own video. I have a few 250s myself. That being said I think it’s over costed compared to the hanomag.
I'm a new player. Can you tell me if there's any reason to take Veteran on this vehicle please? And what the pros and cons of that are? Thank you.
You need a pioner team in your list to upgrade the 251/1 to the panzerbuchse variant one (also the cannon is just +2 at long range)

Your reviews are interesting. The 251 series had only 22 versions. The last being the 251/22. The one you call the 251/23 is the 251/9..
Just built my 1-10
