I'm from Bassano del Grappa, which is the town at the bottom of Mount Grappa...I can't express in words what Ollie was able to do! For amateurs cyclists here Mount Grappa is considered an achievement, and already doing it one time is huge...I can't imagine what it can be doing it for 10 times!! Big kudos to Ollie! Some more notable things: 1) as Ollie said when he began the tenth ascend from Semonzo, 18km at 8% is way easier compared with at least 5/6 other ascends, and consider that the climb from Semonzo was the one at this year Giro (which was probably in the top 3 most difficult climbs of this year Giro). I think that it can give you an idea 2) there is a "brevetto", a kind of certificate if you have done all the ten climbs to the top: I hope Ollie has taken it, not many people has done that! It can be validated at the top of the climb in the "Rifugio", and it does not require to do all the ascend one after another - but also in different occasion 3) each year in June, Mount Grappa road is closed in one of its ascend to allow only cyclist to go up there (it's called Mount Grappa Day). I suggest cyclist who wants to try it to come that day: the road to the top usually is not busy but doing it with only cyclists around is even better! Ps. Panorama at the top is really beautiful, you can see Dolomites and the sea plus Venice if it's sunny; but it can be also cold and foggy as in the video

Just wow Ollie, no words. This is the stuff that will stick with you for life, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Then sometimes you make personal memories and achievements nobody can ever take from you. And you, Ollie, will always have had the FKT of this insane challenge. I hope you keep it for a while, but this one will always be yours. Ride on.

The perseverance, the grit, the determination, you can’t help but be inspired and moved by it. You’ve found a lifelong fan with this video, incredibly stuff. Congrats Ollie! I did a similar crazy thing. I rode the entire Tour de France solo this year. First day was a mechanical and heat nightmare. 21 days later I finished. All stages start to finish. Beautiful and brutal and glad I survived! No charity, no fanfare, no cameras. Just grit and personal satisfaction. Not sure I will ever fully recover. I have an entirely new respect for Tour de France racers!
First of all, Ollie - you are an absolute champion. A man of steel. You don't ascend climbs, they descend you. Second, when is GCN finally going to make a video addressing Ollie's unfair genetic gifts? I refer of course to his glorious, voluminous hair! Seriously though, incredible effort. This is hugely inspiring stuff. Even for a noobie like me - preparing for my first 70 mile ride - it's videos like this that make me believe in the power of the human body combined with an enduring spirit. Much love, ride on king.

For the first time in a long time, I feel that GCN managed to capture the magic of cycling again. You could feel the excitement, the struggle, that unique connection to nature while moving through it and with it under your own power. Feelings, that only cyclists know. Even the editing crew seemed to be having fun with this one, which was lovely to see! Well done folks, well done indeed. This is the way! Ollie, you are a „flipping“ Monster! That was one of the most impressive GCN/Cycling Vids. I have ever seen, fantastic, savage, impressive, motivating, ……….. I’m running out of superlatives. Thank You. 🙏
Monte Grappa FKT x10 ascents. Phenomenal. One of the best ever GCN videos. More along these lines please. speed is not everything. We can all push ourselves a bit further, a bit higher even if we don't go faster. Perhaps not as far and high as Ollie but it's good to push your own limits.
Wow! What an absolute legend you are, Ollie. To put yourself through that both physically and mentally is really inspiring. I shall never complain about 3km @ 6% ever again!
Wow! I can't begin to quantify the awe I'm feeling after watching this. I owe a debt of gratitude to GCN for getting my back in to cycling during the pandemic and bringing this person back from being overweight, unfit and in a mentally dark place. I got quite emotional seeing Ollie complete this truly inspirational achievement. Something that's a far cry from the days of Ollie getting dropped! (Soz couldn't resist) Bravo Ollie and Bravo GCN.
Thanks for your effort Ollie, Hank, Alex, all of GCN that has survived, VW, and all the viewers. I’d give more if I could, but this is the difference between being fueled for all my rides this paycheck and risking a bonk. I hope GCN is around in the future when I can afford more
I live near to the second climb, what ollie did is incredible. When i do a single ascent of monte grappa i feel so tired that i just want to go back home.
Congratulations Ollie for a savage showing on this challenge. I’m from the Philippines and despite the geographical separation, your efforts on these epic climbs, your determination to push through challenges with such a positive mindset, inspires me and so many others. Keep on 🚴
No better word than "savage", it says it all... The cinematography of the video is also another level, great work, you did Ollie justice with this masterpiece!
Never a dull moment in this 30+ minute video. Good job GCN crew but more importantly, massive respect to Ollie! I recently decided to get a bit more competitive, wasn’t sure if it’s possible but this video motivates me to try my best and give it a go!
Nothing but absolute respect. Incredible. Next time I'm out on a big climb and I start to get in the red I'll channel the spirit of Ollie to get to the summit!
Thank you so much for your pain, what an emotional and inspirational video. You’re an incredible super human . You’ve even got me back on my bike again after 2 yrs off, more than the encouragement I needed 👊👊

Bloody hell Ollie. That is immense. You looked like you were really traveling on those mega gradients too. Who the hell came up with such a mental idea??? And why the hell didn’t they have a spare set of wheels and some of that amazing SILCA sealant ready for you? Well done and congratulations just doesn’t cut it for that effort. It’s just off the scale.

Unbelievable effort, the mental strength alone I am in awe.
Ollie, you are a „flipping“ Monster! That was one of the most impressive GCN/Cycling Vids. I have ever seen, fantastic, savage, impressive, motivating, ……….. I’m running out of superlatives. Thank You. 🙏
You should be so proud of that effort! Well done Ollie and the GCN team
I am in total disbelieve....My mind can't comprehend....Wow a inspirational ride Ollie....True respect....Greetings from South Africa....Enjoy
I hope GCN is around in the future when I can afford more
Thanks for your support. It means a lot to us!
Thanks Kelvin. Dan
What an absolutely behemoth achievement. Congratulations, Ollie and the team! You guys are an inspiration!!!
I live near to the second climb, what ollie did is incredible. When i do a single ascent of monte grappa i feel so tired that i just want to go back home.
Congratulations Ollie !! I’m so impressed. And I cried. Top job.
Congratulations Ollie for a savage showing on this challenge. I’m from the Philippines and despite the geographical separation, your efforts on these epic climbs, your determination to push through challenges with such a positive mindset, inspires me and so many others. Keep on 🚴
The brotherhood of the road ….
A perfect combination of your cycling talent, your authentic love of cycling, your strong mindset and your genuineness make this a must watch.
Thnx for making this in extra wide screen. Looks a lot better on a phone this way
Mate, this is just unbelievable. I got emotional seeing you rule over this monument challenge. Chapeau! You are an absolute Legend!👏
I am blown away watching this video. Just fantastic! Chapeau Ollie!!!!
i genuinely cant put into words how much respect i have for ollie, its truly awe inspiring!
Oliver Bridgewood - utter legend. Stunning achievement well done Ollie
Ollie, this is an astonishing achievement! I've got nothing but respect for you. Your mental and physical drive is mind boggling. Congratulations!

What a staggering achievement, something that all but the most accomplished climbers dare not even consider, let alone actually do. Massive congratulations to Ollie and the whole GCN team for continuing to inspire the rest of us. Chapeau!
Thank you on behalf of the entire team!
Best production from GCN ever
Ollie that was epic. You, my friend, are a legend. I can't begin to get my head around the mental fortitude it took to just keep on going. One of the best GCN videos yet
Best presenter on GCN. Well done Olly
what an accomplishment mate, something about attempting the "impossible" just to see what you're made of is incredible -- truly a world class achievement
Super impressive and inspiring. Shows what you can do if you just keep going. Doing my longest ride tomorrow and I’ll think of this.
My Legs hurt just from watching... absolutely amazing!!! Big Respect to Ollie for this
Bloody Heck. Ouch. Blimey. Well done. Really Ouch. [... also one big mini van and Alex & Hank didn't think to pop in a spare set of wheels and/or some spare tyres?! That is very GCN!🤣]
Wow..... How composed was Ollie. I've worked with guys at 30+ hours awake and they are grumpy. Well done..... After your 6th ride up I might just must have been able to over take with fresh legs. Congrats all.
Wow 🤯 Congrats on that one Ollie - MASSIVE!! 🙌🏽
Awesome Ollie, absolutely incredible, chapeau sir, chapeau
Bloody hell Ollie. That is immense. You looked like you were really traveling on those mega gradients too. Who the hell came up with such a mental idea??? And why the hell didn’t they have a spare set of wheels and some of that amazing SILCA sealant ready for you? Well done and congratulations just doesn’t cut it for that effort. It’s just off the scale.
Well done Ollie ! Congrats !
A thousand kudos to you Ollie (Thou were bloomin' grand out there!). And well done to GCN for the support and giving Ollie the chance to do this. Something tells me that if he had stayed with the previous channel he may not have this (and many other great) opportunities.
The insane trio of GCN always finding new ways to kill, err, outdo themselves 😅✌️. Seriously 🫡 the 23,000 souls lost in that battlefield. Ironman Ollie, Dr Zoom
Hey, we haven't been found guilty of anything! 😉
@@gcn Keep it up. It’s truly inspiring. I’ll ki.. err.. outdo myself as well. 🫡
Huge respect, Ollie! Just a great attitude throughout the difficulties. That was very inspiring to watch.
Thanks
