I religiously watch Body Double every June. It's a fantastic film. Love the filming location selection and Craig is the focus strength of character development. Such a cinematic treasure.
I’m a huge DePalma fan and feel this film and Blow Out are criminally underrated. Chris was wonderful, comes across very believable as this “every guy” who through a couple chance situations finds him in precarious circumstances. Great performance. Great film.
I 🖤❤ this dude. Shame he is only known for BD and NOES part 3. He does seem like an extremely amiable approachable human being. Wasson was a dead ringer for playing Jake in BD. Thankful, DePalma took a chance on casting Craig. For all the fuss and accolades that Scarface received (justly IMHO) I am absolutely blown away that movie fans dont even mention this film among DePalma's best 4-5 films. I am literally fan boy fascinated by this incredible story and use of the chemo sphere home sitting on the side of a 40 degree slope off a mountain hill. That home is REAL FOLKS and you can see it at the end of Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills. It has quite an incredible history as well. Overall quite surprised Wassons career didnt explode after this film and performance. The guy earned every $$ from what I saw on the screen. The audience dove head first in support of the struggling Jake actor with some phobias and relationship problems. I mean who cant relate to this type of character!!?? Anybody who takes the time to watch this clip and comment is A OK in my book. ❤🖤 bumping into like minded people online. Cheers mates 🍷🍹🍸🍺
BODY DOUBLE is wonderful and is one of my favorites all genres/times combined. I rank it in my personal De Palma top 3 with DRESSED TO KILL and BLOW OUT. 3 wonderful Hitchcockian thrillers/crime movies. I can't think that one is better than the 2 other ones!
Wow, 2 weeks before 'Body Double's' theatrical release! Forever Jake Scully, Craig!! One of DePalma's perennial best, and one of the best films of the 1980's, EVER :)
BODY DOUBLE is a serious candidate for the title of "number one thriller/crime movie" all times combined. And also one of the best movies of the whole creation!
@@Jeckxdeelim from the new generation but i can tell you one thing, we won't see great actors of the 70s 80s and the 90s whether they were big or small or flop actors from low budget movies. they can act 10 times better than tom holland and all shit actors of 2020
because he is a legend, if i become an actor i don't want to be in every movie, i would want my career to be like keanu reeves & heath ledger roy sneider or even craig wasson
I really like Craig Wasson in Body Double. Great film too. He's really good in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 too. This interviewer seems like she just has an agenda to attack the legendary Brian De Palma.
Craig Wasson is so likable in Body Double. A wonderful performance too.
Very talented and seems like a sweetheart. Hope he's had a nice life
His Acting was Wonderful in Body Double .... such a Great Film .... love the 80's !!!
You're absolutely right! Brian De Palma is magic!
he narrates quite a few of Stephen King' s novels on audible sand he's one of my favorites
What a shy humble guy. Body double is an underrated movie
Nice to see him kind of championing the movie, you can see he really had faith in De Palma and the project. An underrated masterpiece.
Yea because you rarely see him in interviews n he wasn't in the making of feature for BD. Clearly a shy man

Whin in June?

I have had a crush on Craig Wasson ever since I saw him in the movie Rollercoaster.

Body Double is a Fuckin masterpiece!
Totally agree!
👍🏻
Talented actor. I thought he was wonderful in body double.
Exactly! And BODY DOUBLE is a fantastic and wonderful movie! Brian De Palma is magic!

love this movie and Craig ...my 2nd fave movie after Phantom of the Paradise!
@@gloriadignazio2515 De Palma is magic!
Brian DePalma's best film.
I understand why people hate it, but I think it's a tight little perfect film
@@rparker8761 But a lot of people don't understand anything! This movie is a jewel!
True.
I would still say Scarface is my Favorite, but I loved Body Double as well.
Such a talented Actor!!!
Fun Fact: A year before this interview, Craig Wasson starred in an episode of M.a.s.h.
Body Double is my favorite De Palma movie.
Always think of him in a beige blazer. Good actor.
Bill Maher's body double.
Great movie...great actor...sadly I didnt see much of him after that
because he is a legend, if i become an actor i don't want to be in every movie, i would want my career to be like keanu reeves & heath ledger roy sneider or even craig wasson
He's wearing the same thing as in the movie lol
he's in Nightmare on elm st 3. Another good movie.
No that was Bill Maher.
N ghost story
@@bonnie3447 No, not at all. That was really Craig Wasson in NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3!
You never see him in any interviews. Not even about nightmare on elm street 3 and they interview everybody for those.
Another actor who made it seem just so perfectly easy.
craig wesson wow
I like his candor about ghost story, one of his own movies
I’m here because of my history class in a more perfect union
She should win something for best 'reaction shots' acting.
wowwww
Oh my god, it's the mom from Happy Days.
worse
Jake scully
Craig Wasson is SUCH a cutie pie! Wow! He just does not seem to have a disingenuous bone in his body. At least not in this interview.
it's true.. Heart o' Gold!
Body Double is an absolute classic. My second favorite thriller movie behind Blue Velvet.
I really like Craig Wasson in Body Double. Great film too. He's really good in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 too. This interviewer seems like she just has an agenda to attack the legendary Brian De Palma.
Ironically Nightmare on Elm Street ruined his career
same clothes, same akwardness. Wasson actually IS Scully !
Damn. I thought this was Bill Maher
That interviewer is rough!
Is that Bill Maher?
No, it's Fee Waybill.
No, this guy’s cool
@@DtothePtotheG LOL.... I thought they were the same person for years.....
Craig looks really uncomfortable in this interview. He looks like he's about to found out for something he's done wrong.
The lady interviewer is such a drip. Craig Wasson seems very bored. She does not seem like she would make the person feel comfortable.
His De Palma/Southern analogy certainly went south... yikes!
Her interviewing style is VERY awkward
I heard he used the N-word on live television.
boy was she wrong
