I love Dee, but I can definitely see how he's not for everyone. Who is??? Nobody. And it doesn't matter. Now forget about personalities, in music, going platinum means selling to a an extremely small percentage of the population(.3%) going diamond(10M) is 3%. But so many people have multiple copies of an album... especially in the 80's when there were 3 popular tangible formats Cassette, CD & Vinyl. Calculating popularity was very skewed.

I think it was 1984, Sydney Australia and me and 2 x pals are seeing TS at The Hordern Pavillion.
So, there's a section on the side that are sitting down and Dee sees that they eren't going mental (like we were). Put the spot lights on them and then requested that they might want to leave (using an amount of profanity I'M still trying to work out...). Walked out after the show and we couldn't hear the traffic going past...on a major raodway....

Dee Snider is Sociopathic behavior... The charm and the linguistic distractions and the "calm" demeanor. My older brother is a Sociopath and he often talks about Dee Snider.

I was a teenager in the eighties living in Buffalo NY. Twice me and my buddies had tickets to see Twisted Sister and both times they cancelled as opening act. Fill in bands were crappy local bands. Always left a bad taste for me. Still love the music.
