A bit academic now given the age of these cars, but I fitted a Bullet supercharger to my 2006 Sahara petrol V8 Landcruiser at 66,000 km in 2009 giving 184 kW at the wheels against 114 kW standard. I have now done 254,000 km at March 2024, and a dyno in 2022 showed exactly the same 184 kW at the wheels. No issues with reliability, power is wonderful, have cleared Big Red with 4 wheels off the ground fully laden! Cost back then about $14k with exhaust, chip etc, fitted at Bullet in Brisbane. No change to fuel economy, still woeful, but no increase.
Awesome work, if anyone is considering an upgrade to their 4.7L 100 series or Lexus LX470, these kits are exceptionally good. Fantastic power and the vehicles really do wake up and respond well to this boost. Cheers

Hi sorry I can't remember what year the land cruiser was but the supercharger kit comes from bullet superchargers if you look them up on Google you shouldn't have a hard time finding them.

I was joking when I said if I can put 8k in my 2door Tahoe I can easily drop 20k in my 99 Land Cruiser 😢😂

@surfman0115 can't see it being a problem. If you tow and do other loaded things then you'll want to do that in Max 4 gears anyway
Any chance they'll be California CARB legal? I have a new TRD blower but I don't want to kill my engine with it.

The 2uz is a very impressive motor, for a passenger car. It needs a rotating assembly, before you want to build power.
I wonder how this would affect reliability over the long run. These engines basically outlast the car for the most part.
