I made this video during my dispute against Disney's copyright claim on "Home," which I won. 👌🏻 I know this was a bit out of the ordinary, but I feel like we could all use a little extra positivity going into this year. ❤️ I can't wait to share my next rewrite with you! I'm so pumped ahh
@@kandr2118 Disney automatically claimed copyright on my "Home" rewrite since I have a lot of their music in other videos on my channel, even though that video in particular features a backing track that I had commissioned especially for the rewrite, in the musical style of Tangled. I counterclaimed under fair use through parody/reinvention, Disney rejected my counterclaim, I appealed it, and they rescinded. ️🎉 Love the Disney characters and songs, not so much the copyright hassle lolol which is why I'm so excited to be featuring reimagined backing tracks that will also make my future rewrites more immersive! 😄
As a fellow Alto, singing any disney song is pretty damn hard. More specifically I am a dramatic contralto (literally the lowest female voice type....) and I can sing with Karen Carpenter, Phil Collins, Disney men in general (Faciliar, Olaf, Le Fou and Maui to name a few specific ones), and... kinda oddly.... Chester from Linkin Park, Other than that there is (the women...) Iduna, Ursula, and Gothel..... moms, dudes and villains.... not the best list but hey I can sing "You're Welcome" without altering the notes so there's that!
My voice isn't quite low enough to sing a lot of Disney villain songs as I'm a mezzo and struggle with going lower than Eb3 (I can go down to C3) and I can't really sing a lot of princess songs because I'm a dramatic mezzo and my voice is quite heavy but being a mezzo I get all the female villains and Elsa and Pocahontas
@@I_tried_to_be_emo_and_failed I have hit a D3 before (a baritone note) though that was a REALLY good day. I am a dramatic Contralto (PERHAPS a Lyric, but I have a hard time switching notes hence why I think it's dramatic)

Really liked the slideshow of pics and videos. Too bad about Lucy the cat but it's nice to adopt another cat. (And if the new cat needs a bath, it's like you're making Miso soup)

When I was little I never new what my voice was I didn’t talk much in school except to answer questions so it didn’t really matter. I didn’t talk much at school because at home no one really listened to me so I just stopped talking. So when I did talk at home I talked in a baby voice, it didn’t matter until I got older but then my dad got upset. I tried talking to my family in my real voice but it just didn’t feel right, it seemed too low. So I don’t know what to do, I can’t use a baby voice but I don’t like talking in my real voice. But when I sing, my voice is higher and it just feels right, but i can’t just always sing so it is so confusing. And if you made it to the end of this thank you for caring and do you have any advice?
