@@TheIrbe I think it's important for Globalisation and Development. We also have a lot of Kenyan babies born in the diaspora and shows like this allow them to know more about their country, as most kids in mix marriages don't speak Swahili.
@@nomxhosapekani7966 What a nonsense, when you mean mixed marriage do you mean the high number of kenyan women marrying old white men? It seems to be a trend in Kenya, no self pride, loyalty or self preservation of kenyan, african identity. Lets not pretend that kenyans talk English because of globalisation, its because of colonisation... If Mozambique adopted English, that would be because of globalisation. Swahili could be a global language but Africans have no pride in their languages, we take pride into our children speaking fluent English or Frensh than in fluent Swahili or another African language such as Xhosa. Go to any country in Europe that's not U.K, you cant speak English, they will require you to learn their language but when foreigners come to Africa in countries such as Kenya since there is no national pride in Kenyans, those foreigners don't have to integrate into kenyan culture, there are millions of europeans who have lived in Africa for decades but still doesn't know any African languages... In Tanzania on the other hand, foreigners are forced to learn Swahili because they value their language unlike in Kenya.
@@TheIrbe I understand your patriotism, and the importance of holding our African languages with high esteem. I was thinking of many Africans, and also Kenyan who have fled to Europe and the Americas due to political and economical problems. I was just saying it is good to have these programmes are broadcast in English so that such children can take part in debate in their ancestoral country. Finally you have posted this episode, Thank you! I pray Grace's daughter gives the mum a chance to love her and bonds with her. Tamima is just a Queen. I adore this Lady.
Mavuno Church have a program called Mizizi and about 6-years ago one of its core facilitators launched it in the correctional institutions and named it "Freedom Behind bars" this saw the transformational purpose driven program get taught to prisoners and took a step further and even taught to the wardens so that both are transformed inside out ... so powerful was this tool that they launched it out to various prisons and it was used to reconcile families and unplug the stigma... Tamima great platform and may God use big time to heal the broken, downtrodden and rejected.
We should appreciate these people. It takes lots of courage to come forward and open up to the world and share their experiences without afraid of being judged.
That last guy. The message is so personal to me: whatever your journey is, whatever you are going through, There is always a bigger picture, a purpose and God will see you through it and open you up to great things. Amazing.
Just started watching ur show from Trinidad and tobago in the caribbean. Great content by the way. I just wish i knew ur language to understand these testimonies. Please put in sub titles in english soon.
That lady must have had a really crappy lawyer if at all she had one..that was a hefty price to pay compared to the crime committed..may God heal all the unseen wounds and bless her future endeavors. Most of all i hope she reconciles with her daughter.
am so sad with kenyan judgement, i know trust is an issue but they should be considerate of the age and little truth depending with the age, 23yrs in jail... Thats so bad, she did nothing
Tamina, you have a loyal audience from Denmark. Thank you for being empathetic and bringing real conversations to your show. My heart goes out to Grace. I hope that will be kind for her from now on. Does she have a job?
The first guy is not remorseful at all. That speaks volumes about his character (even though reformed). I wonder what the family of the deceased victim would feel if they saw this!
