In this guy's story, he's a hero,he sees himself as self righteous, self achieved,he thinks that in every situation he's always one step forward of everybody else,at no point did I hear vulnerability in his story
Many think they are smart and can get away with it. Thats the blunder. Snatchers and shoplifters think their crime is simple until they steal from a senior guy and he gets injured in the process. Ngai!!
Very encouraging /touching. I believe as you have said.. You had something to learn. God is faithful. You have something in you.. You can mentor advise... Go for it... Also.. Thank you Francis and pole.. We understand ujana led you there.. without thinking on the consequences..Also in Langata around this area.. Dam estate we have issues with water and I've been seeing people Going for drilling process.. You can come over get numbers of the owners you never know.
I remember this case was all over the news. The kids mother (A magistrate) had a lover who allegedly committed the heinous crime. The lover was presented as a psychopath in court.
I'm going to say one thing: DONT EVER DO SUCH A CRIME. Not only is it a crime but it hurts the person who is worried about their child's kidnapping. NEVER!!! Another thing, I think it would be prudent if you went and apologized to that mother's child (If you haven't done it already). You significantly hurt her and it might have left her with long-term consequences.
He added to the pain of the mother na pia gave her false links. Wasted her time. Maybe if he didn't waste her time this mama angefikiria yule boyfriend wake who was later jailed and maybe the girl would have been saved.
This is someone telling his story. Control and guide the interview. Ask questions. Especially the hard ones. Let someone leave here with a better understanding of what exactly happened.
thats what we call an interrogation this is an interview by a media company. information must be compelling, engaging and possibly exaggerated to be more addictive. remember this story can rarely be used to convict someone in a court of law and is in no way a formal admission of guilt.
Mtoto wa sonko you are a good man with a kind heart. Sijui hii story iliishaje but this man doesn't seem genuine at all. I hope he wasn't using you to make an edge for himself.
Francis, I hope you look for the bereaved mother and say sorry. You may have paid for your crime but upuzi ya kumdanganya wasted her time and probably chance of finding the daughter. All the best, you got brains utamake it.
@francisotundo You seem to lack empathy and those are traits of a narcissistic. What you did to that lady is not a joke. You seem to take it lightly as just threatening, but it is taking advantage of someone's misery in the worst way possible. They were dealing with the pain of a missing child and all you can think of is to con her using her fear and anxiety for her child??? One day you will learn your lesson well if you are still refusing to do so.
Kutoka jela ni kama kuingia heaven bro. Its an achievement in itself. Those accusing this guy no nothing. He has admitted committing a crime naively. Plse learn from the crime. Confidence in the face of adversary is a step in the right direction. It helps.
Some people who are commenting here behave like deputy Jesus it's as if they've never sinned....wengine ati ooohh red flags nyingi kwa hii story kwani kuna mtu alim- force kupeana story ndio akuje adanganye, kuna wenye wanajua what happened kuliko mwenye story mmscheeww!!!
Francis' childhood background may have robbed him of certain basic morals, eg, truth telling, ephathy, and incorruptibility. He took unfair advantage of a grieving mother. That's despicable and diabolical. I hope he can look for a way of reaching out to this unfortunate mother who lost a daughter and apologise. You seem to enjoy some assumed heroic status and bravado. Only narcissistic do that. Altogether, though, Francis, you've tremendous talents in IT, communication, high IQ... please use them all for the Glory of God, who delivered out of prison, and the benefit of humanity.
The fact that you had a child on the way and you decided to take advantage of another parents.. misery .. I didn't detect any remorse or empathy for that mother haki. The fact that you learnt later the child had passed away and the only thing that you were worried about is that your goose is cooked .. Eh ... Asante kwa kutuelimisha lakini wah
What he did to that lady was so cruel. He says he helped 120 to be freed yet none is here to bear witness, unlike others interviewed here who had lower figures but so much praise from beneficiaries.
The fact that he took advantage of a mother's desperate situation in the first place and acted like it was just a silly little prank he was playing really irritates me. I hope he learns remorse in the end and maybe then he'll get his second chance.
WOW WAAH, lucky ako nje.. all those blunders 1. impersonate a criminal and divert course of justice 2. grievous threats of bodily harm to a minor regardless of impact on mother 3. not being represented by a lawyer and thinking he can represent himself yaani ako nje? 🤣🤣😂
It is a coincidence that this guy was brought up in allamano boys center and later on his maturity he was involved in a crime of the same village😅😅 I’m from Meru…
Bro, HOW COULD YOU? take advantage of such a situation? you can choose to call it falsely accused, but you blackmailed and stole from a woman in her lowest moment, we are all human, we all make mistakes, and I'm not here to judge, but what you did is lower of the low and I feel five years spent on remand was not even enough. You are just as guilty as the evil people who did the evil deed of kidnapping a child. I hope you learned your lesson, I hope it was worth the money you tried to steal from a family in their weak moment. I said I'm not here to judge but I feel so angry, there is being human and then there is being ocean deep and what you did is lower as deep as the ocean deep in its evil.
If you went through Lubinu high school then you understand why this guy despite being smart and intellectual would take advantage of the kidnapping case to make money. I hope things have changed in the school.
Good narration but there are several loopholes in this story. This guy says he was motivated by the ransom money. But he was not doing bad at that time to go to such extent.when the CID came, there was a bundle of 20k lying idle somewhere in the house.he had good skill set to get good gigs. He knows the truth
Of course each criminal will claim self righteousness and justifying everything he did for better or might even take money and start giving donations to poor to silence their conscience.
Next time control the interview, the interviewee is only giving us his version and sounds very excited trying very hard to minimize his association in the crime therefore leaving out alot of details of the actual crime or the case.
The last part he has ended up saying a lot of nothing talking about what he likes or what he doesn't like. I wish the host would have kept track of the story
Did he refund the 5k that woman sent?He is only seeking attention and since desire for money led him to con,he will con again!! He should rot in prison!

This guy doesn't even see that he committed a crime.
This is what happens when society is very harsh and conscience is dead, man lives in delusion and makes up his own reality.
He was extorting money from a parent whose child had been kidnapped...so heartless.shame on him
