It’s more than phrases and words like “slay” and “periodt”, it also consists of diction, phonetics, in this case it’s rules. I looked up the lyrics because at first it sound like Ines was saying “This my prize” which I’m not sure ab now, but the line “this my song” represents a common rule of possession in African-American Vernacular English. Which is dropping any signs of possession at all. Instead of saying “this is my *blank*”, in aave we would drop the “is” and say “this my *blank*”. Or “That’s X’s baby?” Would become “That’s X baby?”. I don’t know if there’s an exact term for it, but most people I talk to just call it “assumed possession”.
come to think of it, heather duke has been played by many actresses of different ethnicities, asian, black, white, latina and was even played by a man in the tv series (This series is horrible! 💀)

No offense to anyone but as a Black woman this song is the main reason why I’m glad Heather Duke is played by a Black actress
