That motor is going to fail in short order, you restricted almost all airflow to the cooling fan. The guard plate holes are far too small, the fan will hardly be able to move any air.
I hope that motor has a thermal cutoff, else it's going to burn up quick.

And no, it's from the 70-s and has no thermal shutoff. So our hope is not to be fully loaded :)
at first i was thinking the same but at the end i think is ok because the air is sucked from outside the holes and pushed through motor ribs. the problem will be if the air was sucked from the pulley side and through holes out - in that case the airflow will be very poor and causing overheating and finally damage.
@@danbilotto7785 The air inlet holes are too small, the blower won't suck hardly any air through them, it'll just recirculate air inside the housing and try to pull through the exhaust.
There's one point in the video where there's a piece of paper or something on one of the ribs while the motor is running and its barely moving around.
To see how bad the airflow problem is, look at the blower guard in the beginning of the video before he cuts it out, it has orders of magnitude more open space than the one that he made in the end.

Also, no cleaning of the inside of the motor and the cleaning of the outside should have been done BEFORE the end plates were removed so the dirt from the outside would not get into the motor. Nor was the rotor cleaned, nor the inside surface of the stator.

You are not serious ; no ground wire ( for the safety ), the hole at the back of the engine are too small, and better to change ball bearings. The sound of this engine is not good for that !

Sounds horrible. Replace those bearings with new. Looks like you cleaned up the old ones and reinstalled them.
