Why does Bahaullah speak in old English? Sounds like book of Morman. Both religions were begun about the same time. Curious. So were the JWs and Seventh Day Adventists ---- mid 1800's. Someone was busy. Maybe Satan? Guess his other religion Islam wasnt spreading fast enough.
It was much more common in the old days? I think it was a attempt to reform Islam. To a more modern form instead of the default be like everyone else. or else.

Before you do this think about what a new world under one government looks like. Cultural differences is what makes this world beautiful. Once we have one government one religion think about where that power lies. Not with the "masses" I'm afraid. They are playing the long game here and I have to applaud them for it. But think about what this "world peace" looks like and don't be swayed by promises that sound too good to be true. That normally means they are.

I think the sword referred to in your quotation refers to the sword of the spirit - meaning believers whether Christian or Baha'i - are called upon to spread the Faith by the power of utterance and good deeds. Did not Jesus tell Peter in Gethsemane " Put up your sword"? Sharing the Word of God, which is more powerful than any earthly power, is how true religion should be spread plus showing such goodly deeds as demonstrate true faith. cp James 2:20, "Faith without works is dead".
@@malcolmcraig839, no sir, you are wrong. You can't have your cake and eat it too, proverbially speaking. Jesus was very clear, the only way to enter into the sheep gate is through the door. When He said that, He was letting His audience, and us, know that there is NO other way to God and heaven but through Him. Everything else is false teaching. Jesus wasn't part of some religious coalition where He, Ghandi, Mohammad, the Buddha, etc., etc., are in some religious partnership.

You are right, we Baha'is should not rule the world. While I believe that the administrative practices prescribed by Baha'u'llah are the remedy for corrupt systems seen in many communities and nations around the world, the tenets of the Baha'i Faith must never be forced on individuals or their communities. Any influence on governmental practices must be chosen by the people. As I understand it, governments around the world do consult with the Baha’i institutions likely because of the Writings’ focus on effective consultation, non-partisanship, the unity of mankind, and a joyful embrace of diversity.
It is likely that we are, unfortunately, centuries from a day when the nations would eagerly seek out and embrace the administrative principles spoken of by Baha’u’llah but I constantly see the promise in the young people today who have an expectation of justice for all and put their efforts towards that end.
If you would like a more fruitful conversation I suggest getting in touch locally with Bahai's who would explain it much better than me here in the comments under a video. :)

Bahai religion Would not, Could not be the ruler of the world. At the most they could be universal house of justice. I do not believe we need a ruler any more. And hopefully in future we would not even need law and law enforcement or even army.

You should focus on ISRAEL for peace.
(1) Claim to believe in gender equality and yet, debar women from their top-governing body.
(2) Claim to believe in an independent investigation of truth and yet, discourage their members in the strongest terms from reading the writings of their heretics.
(3) Claim to believe in the oneness of religion, but only in an Islamic sense, namely, most of the predominant religions were revealed from God and are now outdated and distorted.
