Thanks so much for sharing! I had not heard about this program before watching your video. I love that assessments are built in to help determine if your child can move ahead or needs more practice. I will definitely be looking into this program now and look forward to hearing your updates on it in the future!
Amie S I’m so glad the video was helpful! It is brand new, so that’s why you probably haven’t heard of it. Kate Snow is a gifted author when it comes to math. I am so excited about it.
Escaping NYC Hi. No, you would miss all the teaching and lessons. The workbook is basically just a quick practice. If anything, I would skip that and not the teacher guide.
Hi! This is a great program though I haven't used it as intended. The teacher guide is gold but I haven't used the workbook much (but IMO this is one of those programs where you definitely need the teacher guide and can pass without the workbook IMO). My daughter loves hand on stuff so we focus on that and not so much worksheets.
Thank you so much for an extensive review of this new curriculum! I'm trying to decide between ordering the book printed or ordering the PDF and printing it from home. I have 3 kids that would eventually go through this curriculum, so durability is huge for me. Does the Teacher's Manual have sturdy pages, or are they the flimsy newspaper quality pages?
I just bought the books I'm kind of having second thoughts about it while looking through the book. My kindergartner really loves math already. I was looking for a program with more math problems. This program may have been more suitable for a pre K kid. I would need to supplement with another math practice workbook if I keep these books.
Athorn223 We use Page a Day math as a supplement. I have a video on that too. If it’s too easy you could do a first grade math, but sadly their first grade math isn’t available yet.
This is exactly why I bought this curriculum for my 5 year old twins with a june birthday. I already have TGTB but I really seems a bit too much for what I want for them at this time. I love that these lessons are short and that there is tracing all throughout: I plan to move through this than move on to TGTB math k and Lang arts. ❤️
There's a lot of really great supplements out there, but one I really like is Everyday Number Stories, and you can get it free online from Google Books! I'm a sucker for old books (free doesn't hurt either) haha. But if you don't like that one you could also try the Rays Arithmetic for Primary (about a 1st to 2nd grade level). If she is already working math problems you could probably just jump straight into the oral lessons for that one. The Ray's Arithmetic series is also free :)
loved 🥰 this. thanks for sharing more.
Thanks for watching!
I’ve never heard of this curriculum! Thank you for sharing!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽
My Littles’ Homeschool You’re welcome! It literally JUST came out! I’ve been waiting! Lol!
Is MWC a spiral or mastery program? Thank you!
It is more spiral

Just curious how this is going for you? We have tried a couple different programs for my LO and we always hit a wall, so considering this program!
