I just got through watching all your videos again as I prepare for a future thru hike, I'm totally amazed at your accomplishment and how you just breezed through it...hope your pups are doing well, I lost my 12 yr old Sheltie to heart disease in January and miss her much, again thanks for sharing your journey with the world

Between my age, one total knee replacement last October and the other one scheduled for this October, my chance of doing a thru hike on the AT or PCT are pretty much gone at this point, so it's been fantastic to experience it through you guys. I did do about 500 miles each of the AT and PCT some years back in section hikes, so it was particularly fun to see you experience the parts of the trail I was familiar with. Good luck in whatever your next adventure(s) is!

If you have opportunity, I would like to know what happens after you return to camp from summiting. What emotions and thoughts do you grapple with? Where does a hiker go once he or she leaves the trail? Are there any suggestions on how to begin the long trip home? How has your perception of the world changed now that your long walk is concluded? Any chance you could do a video on gear successes and failures in retrospect. Also, I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on some of the more perilous sections- where perhaps you questioned your ability to move forward through a certain area. Again congratulations-what a monumental achievement. Your home just in time for football season.

Great vids and after 158+ days of being together it will be strange and different and you don't have to get up at daybreak tomorrow. And if you do it next summer there is always the PCT and the CDT which is absolutely breath taking.
