Had a buddy about kill himself on a Yamaha banshee with some ratchet straps on the front suspension. Right strap broke and sent him out into a freshly tilled corn field at about 120 mph without a helmet on. Y’all be careful with those straps. 156 mph straight into a wall would be bad all around.
What you guys are doing for Sam is totally awesome. He’s a genuinely great guy and you’re keeping him young and he’s reliving his younger years vicariously through each and every one of you. 👍

the thing is entirely weight reduced, doesn’t even have a dash, the motors mounted low they did about everything, the best big thing is suspension. unless they go tubular chassis

This is pretty much the only channel that truly makes you feel one particular thing that I can’t think of another channel that does; makes you feel like you’re there and part of the team. Like you’re in the pits, figuring out all these problems with them, then racing with them. What a feeling.
The most fun thing this years race week is seeing George's progression from nervous to feeling more and more comfy in the blazer and his just overall progression at the drag strips, buenos dias to ya brother!

Hey Cleet, I cant believe anyone could dislike you guys! Being in the collision repair industry for over 40 years, its not uncommon to have heat blow out back glasses on suvs. BUT, driving it open for all those miles, I thought it would have broken long before it did. If I remember right, there is no frame on the glass. driving with it open the wind pushing it down would stress the glass at the lift cylinder points. you need to fab a slick frame and use lexan plastic like the windshield. Pro Glass can probably help with glass, and your guys are very capable of fabricating up a cool frame. You have a great team.

I had the back glass from my bed cover shatter randomly one morning after a cold night. I believe it was on enough of a bind from the struts and the sun baking it which caused the break. you guys are very genuine and personable, its hard to believe it was vandalism. good racing boys
I find it strange too! Odd that the Blazer was the only one damaged though. That tempered glass can be temperamental (pun intended). Years ago, I was taking some parts for my '71 Camaro to put in storage. Had two spare side windows in the back of my '76 V8 Monza and going into the storage place was a pothole right at the gate. Went slow into it and it bounced *just enough* to rattle them together and BOOM! Both of them shattered! Good thing I had already put the "good" ones on the car and those were spares ...

I mean anyone with good ears could hear the procharger on it a few videos ago. It's struggling to get into the 12's because Sam is launching it very softly to not destroy his car.
My Lord it's really amazing to see how far you and the team have come in the past few years. Toast is an absolute UNIT and I think it's safe to say that Rocky surprised damn near all of us. Sam, George, Zack, Ty -- really just super cool to see so many skilled and seemingly genuine dudes added to the team. Excited to see what's in the future!

This was definitely one of the best race week video series to watch. I had been waiting in anticipation every day to see both how Cletus would do and LS george.

Dude it's been so cool to watch everyone here grow, but george this week, feels like he's stepped into the drivers role really well, rocky start in rocky, but finished strong a.f. And i'm proud of em all.

Hey Cleet, I cant believe anyone could dislike you guys! Being in the collision repair industry for over 40 years, its not uncommon to have heat blow out back glasses on suvs. BUT, driving it open for all those miles, I thought it would have broken long before it did. If I remember right, there is no frame on the glass. driving with it open the wind pushing it down would stress the glass at the lift cylinder points. you need to fab a slick frame and use lexan plastic like the windshield. Pro Glass can probably help with glass, and your guys are very capable of fabricating up a cool frame. You have a great team.

fantastic effort all round, must have felt a bit wierd having so little drama to deal with this week. No diff shenanigans, no gasket blowouts, no breakages of any kind till the shoot out, just run after run, squeezing the most out of each track each day. Keep it up!

I had the back glass from my bed cover shatter randomly one morning after a cold night. I believe it was on enough of a bind from the struts and the sun baking it which caused the break. you guys are very genuine and personable, its hard to believe it was vandalism. good racing boys
I find it strange too! Odd that the Blazer was the only one damaged though. That tempered glass can be temperamental (pun intended). Years ago, I was taking some parts for my '71 Camaro to put in storage. Had two spare side windows in the back of my '76 V8 Monza and going into the storage place was a pothole right at the gate. Went slow into it and it bounced *just enough* to rattle them together and BOOM! Both of them shattered! Good thing I had already put the "good" ones on the car and those were spares ...
Back glass on daughter's BMW 3series blew out last week also. We were standing right next to it. Nothing hit it. Hearing a lot of this lately

Seriously, Cleetus is the greatest human on earth. I've been watching since the beginning. When he was cussing his ass off driving other people's cars. To him jammin whistles in a Corvette tail pipe. Not to mention he has made perfect additions to his team, least of all George is is far and away the bet personality on any youtube channel. Thank you Cleetus for being you.

I mean anyone with good ears could hear the procharger on it a few videos ago. It's struggling to get into the 12's because Sam is launching it very softly to not destroy his car.

I’ve seen that tempered glass just break before, happened to my truck topper. I was just working in the garage and for no reason it just blew up. 😂
I think the wind caught it and flung it up causing it to shatter leaving remnants on the roof.

As far as Mullet he is a beast and Congratulations to Cleetus on winning the event overall and that car is so reliable running 7's consistently even at these altitudes is amazing

That blazer is a beast. I honestly never thought that thing would be this fast. That thing is no joke.
I'm just glad to know I can do wheelies with a piece of shit LS, way too much nitrous, and an otherwise stock Blazer with stripped interior lol. I'm so glad they made use of that old blower and got a solid motor in it. I think the Blazer is my new favorite vehicle to watch go down the track.
