I literally did the same thing. I was watching some other UA-camr I like, but when I saw the Cleet video pop up, I paused and came straight over to watch it. Cleet is probably the only UA-camr that I do that with. His vids are just too good.

If you are going to keep running those weights on the back you really should run a pin through the bar to keep them attached! A couple of 25 lb plates will kill someone if they come off at speed, especially if they are spinning from ground contact. You really don't want to torpedeo someone!

Cleeter's the only U-tuber that can make a 5 min engine lift plate Ad seem like 30 seconds...! Ty's "Wheelie Popper Dry Hopper 1000" needs a 2nd set of barbell keeper nuts to act as lock nuts.
Drill a hole in the end of your fork. Then add a ball hitch to it. It will keep things from sliding off and it’s removable. Also handy for moving trailers quickly
I was wondering why it didn't have a ball on one of the forks too?🤔 But drilling, rather than torching a hole, seems tedious to me. 🤔🙄 It would make their life much easier! 👍

Cleetus videos have been a nightly ritual in our house for my son and I. We don't go to bed without getting at least one video in even if it is just rewatching an old video. Keep doing what you guys are doing
i've seen plenty of cranks breaking with blowers on them, the cause is from not having the proper tension on the pulley. the belt needs to be checked after its had some heat put into it. a belt that is to tight will cause that crank to snap. depending on your pulley setup. 1/2" to 3/4" slack on the long side from center.
Cleetus/Garret I have to say you're such a class act. When things like this happen you're always telling your guys not to worry about it and it wasn't their fault which is 110% correct and just the right thing to do. I've been forcibly retired due to severe health issues that come with a constant dose of extreme pain at only 56 but if I was somehow able to come work for you I'd fight thru it all or give it my best shot, (not that I haven't already tried that), because you really are just that damn awesome. I bet not only is it a blast working for you but more than likely the job of a lifetime for anyone lucky enough to be on your payroll. I'm moving to your neck of the woods next year in the spring of '24 so I'm definitely going to keep my fingers crossed and be praying that even though my work history is as a director of management that even at your young age you're probably already better at it than I ever was but at least on a good day I can ride a mower and cut grass with the best of them. Thanks again for just being you sir, you truly are 1 in billion and already on the path to becoming a legend. You should get in touch with the Street Race Channel guys. Billy and his Dad (Old Man's Garage channel) would probably be more than happy to help you out and give some pointers on the small tire no prep stuff. They have tons of videos on the subject. Definitely worth taking a look.
It sucks that the Blazer broke, but on the upside the timecrunch rebuild videos are always amongst the best videos on the channel. Plus, as the saying goes: It's not broken, its just telling you what to upgrade next.

For no prep, the front of rocky is not rising enough. He needs a few more inches of front shock travel to help transfer weight to the rear, AND the rear is not squatting enough. Try that and watch Rocky Hook And Book

Honestly, when they started the lift plate bit “I couldn’t think of one possible thing that could have gone wrong.” However, I’m impressed with the strength of the chain, forklift, lift plate, and the truck hitch. 😂😂

In all honesty the stuff I’ve seen him do with the forklift don’t even register on the sketchy scale for compared to some the stuff I’ve seen done with them around race shops. I’ve seen some sketchy stuff including my buddy dropping his ex wife’s car off of one raised all the way up while having someone video it to send to her (she sold it to him for next to nothing because she thought he was gonna fix it as one his kid’s first car)
Lower the back and raise the front. Also should consider TRS Jeff Thomas goodies or Nickkey Bobby INC/ Trick chassis new long travel set up for the front to get that thang working correctly for back side no prep.
A single 3/8-16 grade 5 bolt could have done the entire lift though. Hard to believe, but it's true. That is, with zero dynamic shock from abrupt lifting and lowering from the tow motor.
@@TokenTombstone I dont know how strong a 1" ratchet strap is. The tensile strength for a 3/8 course thd Gr5 bolt is 6600 LBf. One bolt, in tension, could do that lift.

With bead locks I would be somewhere between 5psi and 8psi. Also if you spin the tires a little more in the juice to give it a chance to break down the tire compound and back up exactly in the lines that you just made it will help a lot! Definitely gonna be doing a wheelie then!

On the weight plates where there's a cutout weld a piece of metal slightly larger than the hole on both sides for all of them to make hollow chambers...drill a hole in the center into the plates on one side only and fill with molten lead.
Fellas first off, if you show up to a 28 10-5 (small tire) no-prep or street race with those W's on you are going to get kicked out. Better check the rules to the race you are going to, most (that being 99.9%) small tire no-prep don't allow the W tire. You need a set of HOOSIER c-07 or d-06 tires. The d-06 are better on virgin asphalt, but as the strating line gets sticky you have to worry about them paddling (especially with hirer horse power).
If you're gonna be entering any actual no prep events they won't allow that 10.5W tire in the small tire classes. Stripper Glitter. ROCKET Track Glue is the preffered traction compounds for my area

In all honesty the stuff I’ve seen him do with the forklift don’t even register on the sketchy scale for compared to some the stuff I’ve seen done with them around race shops. I’ve seen some sketchy stuff including my buddy dropping his ex wife’s car off of one raised all the way up while having someone video it to send to her (she sold it to him for next to nothing because she thought he was gonna fix it as one his kid’s first car)

The fact the bolt threads holes is the impressive part.
A single 3/8-16 grade 5 bolt could have done the entire lift though. Hard to believe, but it's true. That is, with zero dynamic shock from abrupt lifting and lowering from the tow motor.

The tensile strength for a 3/8 course thd Gr5 bolt is 6600 LBf. One bolt, in tension, could do that lift.

With bead locks I would be somewhere between 5psi and 8psi. Also if you spin the tires a little more in the juice to give it a chance to break down the tire compound and back up exactly in the lines that you just made it will help a lot! Definitely gonna be doing a wheelie then!

On the weight plates where there's a cutout weld a piece of metal slightly larger than the hole on both sides for all of them to make hollow chambers...drill a hole in the center into the plates on one side only and fill with molten lead.
Fellas first off, if you show up to a 28 10-5 (small tire) no-prep or street race with those W's on you are going to get kicked out. Better check the rules to the race you are going to, most (that being 99.9%) small tire no-prep don't allow the W tire. You need a set of HOOSIER c-07 or d-06 tires. The d-06 are better on virgin asphalt, but as the strating line gets sticky you have to worry about them paddling (especially with hirer horse power).
I’ve really come to love this truck. Galaxy & the blazer have become my top favorites in the fleet.

If you're gonna be entering any actual no prep events they won't allow that 10.5W tire in the small tire classes. Stripper Glitter. ROCKET Track Glue is the preffered traction compounds for my area
