Honda CRF 300L Owner Tries XPulse 200 On Trails: Here's Her Comparison

- Standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, Nerine Mak doesn't shy away from riding extremely tall dirt bikes. In fact, she has a Honda CRF 300L back in Singapore on which she rides enduro, and has considerable experience on some KTM EXC-Fs too.
In India, on a small trip, she came out riding with us on our local trails - her ride here, a Hero XPulse with a rally kit that was lent by one of our friends.
In this video, I chat with Nerine on her riding background and what she feels about the XPulse, keeping her Honda CRF 300L in mind.
Let me know what you think of this video in the comments section below.
As always, thank you for giving me your time.
Have a great day.
Cheers - Авто та транспорт
Thanks a lot for the feature and welcoming me to your channel, Abhinav! Great ride and chat with you 👍👏👏
She is expressive enough to convey all the details which is fantastic. That's big slap for the people who criticize short riders who can actually ride tall bikes with right techniques and practice. Cheers to Nerine and her boyfriend. God bless all.
They sometimes are made fun of by people. But actual riders whether they are track riders or tourers never make fun of short riders.
Thanks :') I'm a shorty but have been taught little tips and tricks by Haren and other experienced riders.
When you realise that short riders are the fastes in Moto GP due to their low weight
I wish this raw content reaches more people. This is the influence that indian biking culture needs.
What are you talking about bro
yes also modifications comparing other asian countries our car nd biking culture is very much behind
People just need drag races and whose bike is faster and shit....they don't care about these things 💯💯
I am so tempted to get an xpulse but I want to wait for the 400CC as the power is not enough for my needs in the 200CC. Nice to see a crf user give feedback on the xpulse.
I'm surprised the X-Pulse is that much heavier than the CRF 300L. Really cool interview with Nerine!
Thanks
Thank you! Great questions by Abinahv 👍
After all xpulse is just an extended version of splendor - ironically with an offroader title
Honda has decades of rally experience and wins. Afterall Hero was nothing without Honda, still using Honda engines and technology.
im 6.3 and i ride the rally kit as my daily. its kick ass
Bro Iam 5'8 so there will be no problem right?
I'm 6'4" and I was looking at the same. RE Himalayan looks like a bit of a joke compared to the X-pulse, but I guess they have different applications
@csluwang8782 no problem unless you are able to get at least on leg to the ground for balance
@@scarface9773will the xpulse compliment someone your height around 6.1 with a good built?
Thank you Abhinav for bringing these personalities to us thru UA-cam!😊
I really loved her knowledge and the way she projected it. It was clear that she was carrying a great riding experience and was quite technical in her approach.
Man, I can't even ride a motorcycle yet, and it was so easy for me to understand what she was referring to. That's what I really like, a person with an ability to expand other people's minds! I'd like to get knowledge from her, and may learn from her. Imagine how tremendously amazing of a teacher Huren, her companion, must be!
I feel we too really need to be a learner and may be attend Schools and all after we have Known to operate the motorcycle, so that we get the know how of extracting more and more out of our machines, instead of buying a really big and fast machine, which does most of the work for us, which we may or may not be able to tame, instead of we working it out, which should be the correct way, I guess.
I gotta get a bike ASAP!
I'll soon bring to you Haren's video, which is even more insightful.
@@abhinavbhatt my excitement is sky-high
Thank you, and get that license soon 😉 riding and touring opens up many fun opportunities. I'm the most non-technical person so you'll definitely learn more on technicality, and tips and tricks from Haren's chat with Abhinav 😂 👍
@@nerinemak hey! Thanks for your reply. I was trying to find your UA-cam channel before, but I couldn't find it for some reason. Good to hear from you though!!
I have a licence, but it's for Scooters and cars. I still use my scooter for fairly longer distances. I never got a chance to learn to ride a geared motorcycle. That might change soon.
I'm looking forward to Haren's chat with Abhinav.
Cheers!!
Great interview! Very insightful and inspiring 🙌
Hey Abhinav,
Gud tips given by her to other riders!! Gr8 content.
Great chat and insights!
That was a great interview. Loved your style.
Thanks
It's all about riding skills , there is no issues of tall bikes ...
Thank you abhinav Bhai and nerine fron Singapore.
Thank you guys again
Enjoy ride
Enjoy Life 😊🎉
Informative video!! Thanks Abhinav
Much needed video thanks 🙏
LOL... I am 5 foot 1 from Singapore, recently, bought a Hero XPulse to tour India. I noticed a low-seat obsession in the country. People kept telling me to lower the bike and all but I am comfortable with it! I have ridden taller bikes before. I know Nerine and Haren. Was researching about XPulse and chanced upon this video. Well done @NerineMak!
Thanks Abhinav bhai 🤘 keep rocking!
I feel this was a better video wrt recent previous ones you have been uploading. Anyways i try to watch them all 🍀👌🏿
Thank you.
I am a short rider.... currently i own a bs4 xpulse. I have faced some difficulties while doing trails and about the weight...it's a different story for me 😅 once the bike tips a bit too much I just can't lift it on my own 🤦🤦 yet still this is and will be the best bike i have ever owned...nothing gives me this much happiness ❤️
Height bro ?
@@noone-zl2di 5.5
Not a problem mate.. Work on your thighs and lower body.
Learn lifting with your back.
I own one and know the struggle on trails
@@NemoOfNautilus yes buddy need to hit the gym💪💪 thnx btw ❤️
Put the side stand on. Go on the other side turn away from the bike and hold the bike comfortably. Use your legs/thighs. Also do sumo squats. Hope this helps.
I am a new follower of your channel
Greetings from Sweden 😊
Lol... Like Singapore has a cold weather. Great video by the way...
It is very Informative interview
@ 1:54 That was TVS XL 100 heavy duty, very very popular in South East Asia.
Very interesting interview.
She's fab! 👌🏻
Great content 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks
shaking the camera so much during her climb but the chat was inspiring
CRF 300 is king of the dual sports!! No comparison with anything else... even Honda XR 190L performs better in off-road...and still is expensive ..Well Xpulse does the job within our budget though 😅
x pulse is competitors of xr
Kya used to heat in India? She is from Singapore, it's more humid and equally hot.
Bro i have some questions,
if one is upgrading their engine hardware like you did to your xpulse, which ecu do you suggest nmwracing or powertronic and did you faced any issue while running the stock ecu with the upgraded hardware?
Try and get the Powertronic. The stock ECU won't give you gains.
I also have CRF 300L. From kathmandu Nepal 🇳🇵
Abhi hi.. CRF throws power of 23Nm torque whereas whereas Xpulse barely delivers a 17Nm (on paper)
And thats end game. No more arguments. Check mate!!
I had waited for nearly 4+ yrs for Honda to open up CRF250L in India. Had a wish to own a real-off roader!
Xpulse barely scrathes the surface as one.
I bet Hero will never make "a real offroader of that calibre" but only go around hyping that "its one of it" whereas in reality the current releases they have in pipeline are mere an extension of
"uncle resembling commuter bikes like hero honda splendor"
Moral of the story being : Its may be very easy simply fool around indians by calling Xpulse - an offroader/rally class, just by mere adding a cheap ground clearance and a bit of insignificant suspension systems.
Pls note "the offroad bikes like road legal CRF series" have just a different science altogether during manufacuring.
My mechanic chacha had similar modified bikes built a long long time ago via. Bit of lazy, poor Modification system.
One thing for sure: The day Honda realaeses CRF L series in India market - these XPulse guys will be thrown out of water. Cos many indians will only then realise the feel of what is it that differentiates a real offroader from prvailing extended commuter bikes like Xpulse series
It would be around 3.5 lakhs case closed
May be a Rajdoot motorcycle will perform better than Honda CRF 300 .. it has comfort, and the power delivery is awesome. Love your video Abhinav❤
Wtf
Nice!
Have you though about changing the swingarm of xpulse to make it a bit lighter or any modification you are looking forward to
I have, but I don't want the headache. The next logical modification to the XPulse is getting a better trail bike.
@@abhinavbhatt That seems a much better idea considering how much you might have spend on this 🤣
It's really great thing 🎉 and It's a normal are really set?
Do try if you get chance to install foot pag mover from joshua Cristo since you have experience rider does it make difference
I have it installed on my bike. I am testing it already.
Hey abhinav, can you tell me approx how much weight was saved after switching to aluminium rims?
I don't remember now. Maybe two kg or more. I had put up an Instagram post on it once. If you want exact figures, you'll have to look there, I guess.
Where do I get to buy Rally seat xpulse ka
Any one who could help me with tubeless back tire for the bs6 please?
100k subs crossed
Where is this beautiful trail
Good videos
Hello abhinav i have been following u since a while back and i wanted your opinion on which tyre should i buy for my interceptor 650 kindly suggest asap thank u
110 on front and 150 or 160 on rear
@@SDP17 i was asking should i go for a metzeler or mrf but thanks anyways
@@yuvraj5825 metzeler is far better than mrf
Are there any set of perelli sportscomp left ?
If you don't ride aggressively, save money and go for the new Ceat tyres that the bike now comes with.
🤙🏻
We are riding in Aravali o. 450s this sunday bro
Nice. Maybe I'll bump into you guys.
What happened to Yamaha r15 v3 😵
High gear p kaun trail marta hai..
What kind of question was that?
Nerine was kind enough to reply well to that question.
On flowing trails, I am mostly in fourth or fifth. So are a few others I ride with. Some prefer being close to the redline in 3rd.
Don't talk with your head in your ass.
Niiiicee
CRF is CRF it costs 18lakhs here....
Crf300 if launched in India would be twice as expensive as xpulse
What a champ
Which place is this? Sirohi lake, faridabad?? Is it
Panikot.
mic is not working really have to try hard to hear what she's saying, just depended on the subtitles here
Bro I want to honda crf 125 hubs

location ???
Any update on the project v3 ?
No.
The project is effectively defunct and dead 💀, isn't it?
@@abhinavbhatt so there will be no 25bhp V3 in India ?
Its brilliant project abhinav bhai why you are not working on that?
I am here with you since 2020 only for that 25hp v3
@@vikramsinhdantkale8525 for now, yes.
@@amanibrahim04 I now have zero interest in riding on the road and that too a committed bike like the R15. At least till I don't revive it, the R15 project is dead.

Yes pls share the place, location
