The filtration system seems to be massively undersized for the size of the pond and the numbers of Koi they were planning to add. Nice house and pond design, though.

Dubai, I would spend 90% of my house budget on the air conditioner, possibly split with the swimming pool so you can actually spend more than 5 minutes outside.
PS: you have to have a water chiller for your swimming pool.

I would love to visit it one day. But I support the Japanese Koi breeders, their culture and heritage. Koi is from Japan, I think we should respect that. I don’t think it’s good if other people, but some Koi in Japan and start breeding and selling. It’s very very important we support the Japanese koi breeders. There are, unfortunately many breeders in Indonesia, India en Vietnam that don’t respect the Koi. Many abuse them and keep them in very bad conditions. So I have some concerns about going there. But I think with education and good motivation we can come far

Recently bought 3 Showa & 1 Kindai Showa from Marusei & Ooya koi farm of average 40cm in size Nisai. All females with nice menwa pattern. Does it have a good growth potential? Is it really worth? Kindly share your thoughts.

Meiji Emperor (1868 - 1912), Taisho Emperor (1912 - 1926), Showa Emperor (1926 - 1989), Heisei Emperor (1989 - 2019). Now Japan is in the era of Reiwa (2019 - ). The Showa koi was developed in the early Showa. Kindai stands for the modern period.

I think everything is very expensive in Dubai, BUT you don’t pay any income tax… max 2%
they’re starting to build normal residential streets you can get 4 bedroom house with garden garage ect for around $500,000
