Thank you for providing a self-less, clearly noted, step by step tutorial. Fantastic job and outstanding concrete sculpture. So very grateful that you took the time to share. Peace be within you and yours.
I am so excited to start working on new sculptures, I've never done it before but your videos have inspired and informed me so much I just have to give it ago! Beautiful sculpture btw, I can't get over how talented you are!-
Wonderful smooth finish! My concrete cracks after drying and is crumbly- your mix looks quite wet so have you come across this? Also, do you ever use rapid set cement? Thanks~
Do you need the grey plasticine or can you use any color? I saw on a website its recommend to use the grey for silicone but it's sold out now, or it doesn't really matter?
I add white cement because if there is only regular cement than the repaired holes will be darker. You definitely can leave holes as they are. It is only question of aesthetics.
Wonderful work Peter, this is a very detailed 3D figure, very good proportions! Like #16 and subbed 390 I do have a digital painting channel if you would like to take a look and become a friend it will be really appreciated! Thank you so much for your time!

Thank you! Glad you like it )
great idea! thank you for your sharing!
Merci ! 🤗
Wonderful smooth finish!
My concrete cracks after drying and is crumbly- your mix looks quite wet so have you come across this? Also, do you ever use rapid set cement? Thanks~
I use only portland cement, without sand, it has little cracks after drying but it doesn't bother me. I don't know what rapid set cement is. Sorry.
Nice
This is an amazing instructional! What are you using as a lubricant between gypsum forms, if I might ask?
Thanks, David! I use LITOL - lithium lubricant. But you can use any lubricant. Vaseline for example.
@@ThePeterZaytsev Odd, I recall once hearing that silicone molds and petroleum is a bad idea. Have you tried vaseline before and it worked out fine?
Do you need the grey plasticine or can you use any color? I saw on a website its recommend to use the grey for silicone but it's sold out now, or it doesn't really matter?
color doesn't matter. one thing - plasticine must be sulfur free
Great video! Thank you for sharing! What kind of silicon did you use btw?
Is there a specific reason to include white cement? Additionally, what would happen if the holes weren't filled?
I add white cement because if there is only regular cement than the repaired holes will be darker. You definitely can leave holes as they are. It is only question of aesthetics.
Благодарю за мастер класс , что за марка силикона применена в вашей работе .
Супер👍👍👍😀👋
Спасибо!
What kind of lacquer do you use? Can you use lacquer designed for wood?
I use some random lacquer for wood
@@ThePeterZaytsev thanks I’ll give it a go!
Have you tried adding fiber or sand for strength?
Fiber - no, sand - yes many times, but with sand it is harder to correct final sculpture.
@@ThePeterZaytsev Came here to ask, love that answer - Luckily i have exactly "random lacquer for wood" 😂
The silicone seems to be the weakest part of the process. How many castings do you get out it?
about 10

@@ThePeterZaytsev Хорошо, буду пробовать. Спасибо за ваши видео.
Hi, is this technique weatherproof? 🌨☀️⛈️?
Yes, it is
What kind of clay do you use?
I use plasticine
@@ThePeterZaytsevReally? You make it look so easy! It's incredible work/technique with plasticine. You're very talented 🙌🏼
What are the benifits of using plasticine instead of clay?
I think that both these materials have their pros and cons. Plasticine doesn't dry for example.
what happend if you do everything with white cement???
everything will be white ))) It is totally ok
@@ThePeterZaytsev thank you
May I know what matetial did you use?
Hi! Could you specify what material do you mean?
I would like to no what clay to buy
And what silicone you use
wat silicone rubber do u use
I use silicone compound from local manufacturer (I am from Russia)
tap/ shake moulds to get rid of bubbles :)
you dont use an aggregate?
Sorry, don't know what is aggregate )
@@ThePeterZaytsev concrete= water+cement+aggregate. aggregate is like Sand, natural gravel, and crushed stone. do you only use cement and water?
@@pabloG3d Yes I use only cement and water. I don't like sand in my sculptures - it makes any correction harder.
@@ThePeterZaytsev thank you
👍🏆
Thanks!!
I’m just tryna find info to help with my tech deck park and dudes over here making works of art, I can’t even make a nice ledge
Just be patient and all will be Ok! )
what lacquer do you recommend on cement?
I had some random lacquer. So I am using it. It is called "KO-85 heat resistant"
Does it matter what type of lacquer? Or can I just use what I have laying around too? I do like the way your finish turned out though too!
@@katiejoartsy1540 it is definitely matter. i recommend to try on some small part first.

Bought a wooden man for 5$ from the dollar shop and it will be copied
ok
