@@constantine9142 I was just going to say this! After both my csections I LOVE waist trainers. I feel like I’m held in and just much more secure right after.
I have had 4 C sections and though I have never tried waist trainers after, I learned recently that they are highly recommended after a C section to help hold everything in place as you heal because you have to be careful about doing too much in case you pop open your incision again, so yeah, that seems like a great application for these! It also seems like it would have just provided support in that area that was so weak at the time and maybe that would be true of all post pregnancy situations. Wish I had used them!

I really really appreciate how you started off the video saying your waist size doesn't matter! Sometimes I get caught up in the tiny waist/big hips "ideal body" that's shown all over the media. Thank you for keeping it real.
When I was young, the ideal was stick figure thin. No waist, no butt. I think that still in play except now the extra behind & super curvy waist, which doesn’t exist in any women’s natural body. Celebrities get implants, fat removed in certain areas and the clothes are fitted to them. To make the new body icon look like it’s real & achievable without getting the surgery & other procedures done. Whatever the world is selling, it’s not allowing for realism’s. ❤️
Kate, I'm not a fan of that body shape. Anything *all* of the Kardashian Klones do, I'm against it lol So don't obsess over it cuz it's not only not pretty but it's also unattainable for those of us who can't afford to spend 80% of our money on cosmetic surgery!
I don't think it is about weight loss, but more about having a smaller waist and weight loss alone is not going to give you the extremely small barbie waist that a waist trainer does. It actually moves your organs so that your waist is smaller. Perhaps I'm wrong, but that is my understanding of the waist trainer.

@Laaiba Some people get also get permanent imprints from their bra and panties. Women in the 50s wore their belts super tight and also got a mark from that.

I have white Vessis - but a different style, the Weekends - and they have NOT stayed white. They’re actually dirtier than any of my other shoes and are awful to clean...so if you do try these, stick with the Everydays!
I have a black pair of the Cityscape(?) i.e. the original ones they launched on Kickstarter back in 2018, and recommend that if you get those ones, to go up a size! I usually wear an 8 and could NOT get the 8s on at all
I had white ones too and they did not stay white! But I was walking my dog with them through melted puddles of dirty snow. Functionally they're great! Just know the light colors will eventually stain. Also air dry them only! I made the mistake of putting them through a tumble-only, no-heat dryer cycle and they did not survive.

My grandmother wore a corset her whole life which is exactly the same as a waist trainer, and it resulted in her losing all the strength in her core. As Hope said at the end of the video they do the opposite of train your waist, they do the work for you so you're not engaging your core. My grandmother also had back issues which were no doubt a result of wearing a corset because she wasn't working the muscles in her core or back and it was her corset holding her up, not her own muscles. They really are yet another daft idea to get people to pay more money for leggings they don't need.
Exactly. Fitness competitors will wear them before competition to reduce their ab muscles and lose inches on their waist - by losing their core strength. No Thanks
That's cra?y because in thw Victorian ages they were made for women to wear during parties for back support and they would have a professional tailor to make it custom but now today they have just evolved backwards and are for fashion more than anything.
This is correct and makes me want to add that SHOES are doing the same thing for your feet! “Foot shaped” shoes are the best shoe for letting your feet stretch and strengthen the way they need to while protecting them. Modern shoes also cause more people to develop bunions when they age due to the toes being brought in instead of flaring slightly out like toes naturally should.
I used waist trainers after my first csection. Kinda thinking about trying it as well for when I have a lot to do. It doesn’t crush your organs at all it holds you in just like the belly band you get from the hospital. Except waist trainers stay on better for sure!
Don't! My OB recommended against waist trainers and the like after my daughter was born because they prevent your abs from coming back together naturally and you increase your risk of diastasis (abs stay apart) 😱

Hope!!!! Can you PLEASE review the blood flow restriction bands. Ive seen ones for the booty and some for arms? I see people wear them the gym all the time and wonder if this actually works. Absolutely love your videos!
I love the positive messages you consistently include about body image , keeping a realistic goal and using opinions and fact, and keeping it SUPER fun. ❤😊
I used a waist trainer for the 2nd 6 weeks of pilates, and I feel it helped me focus on my core with more intention, making the mind/muscle connection. The first few weeks of pilates were difficult, and I didn't feel I was contracting my abdominals well at all. My 3" diastasis closed! I have 6 kiddos, including a set of twins. Was it the trainer? Would I have had the same results without? I don't know......but I am thrilled with the outcome!
fun fact; much like corsets the secrets of waist trainers are that they just make it harder to eat a lot because of the way the pressure constricts and manipulates your stomach/insides, especially with anything that is made of a less forgiving material than elastic(there are some great demos of how corsets did this in the old days on yt). so if people are hardcore waist training (which often means they're wearing waspie corsets during the day as well) AND working out, they're more than likely in a calorie deficit and if hardcore waist training using waspies as well they can actually seriously damage/deform their insides
Leo picked out videos for me to watch, I feel so special. I'm glad you check out the gimmicks for us. I have back issues and I have a brace for it. I only wear it when it's really, really bad for the reason you said. My muscles will get worse depending on the brace. Most medical professionals will say the same thing.
Hope, could you pleaase review the brands that are creating clothes out of recicle materials? Clever style recently made a video and they have Activewear 😍
Seriously, those adds frustrating me SO bad! As a feminist, our grandma's and their moms fought to gets all types of corsets out of our lives because it's legit deformed and compress your internal organs and these companies are literally RUINED all of it by bringing back them in a form of "fitness waist trainer". Bullshit! They abused of people's ignorance to make them believe that "it's good for your health". Arrrrrggghhh! 😤 Btw Hope, your marble yoga zipped top is SO awesome 😍! I'm looking for these for a while and can't find beautiful ones...

*you are so amazing and so beautiful. i love your sense of humor so much i swear to god. you've helped me pull through some times and i hope you realise how amazing you are for making everyone's day better. have a great year. stay happy. love*
Praying for Hope’s internal organs with this video ❤️😅
Hope!!!! Can you PLEASE review the blood flow restriction bands. Ive seen ones for the booty and some for arms? I see people wear them the gym all the time and wonder if this actually works. Absolutely love your videos!
I LOVE HOPESCOPE!!!!! She is one of the most real youtubers out there love you!
Her body is literally goals, I'm gonna focus more on how i feel cause my mental health is going real south so I need to have control on something lol
I'm straight about to switch up my grocery shopping time because I swear I'm in the grocery store EVERY TIME you post 😭😭
I think this is the latest I’ve ever been to a HopeScope video😂
I love the positive messages you consistently include about body image , keeping a realistic goal and using opinions and fact, and keeping it SUPER fun. ❤😊
Girl how did I not get the notification!! Always happy when I get to see hope test something out!! You always the yruth
"have a hard time to keep shoes white" *me glancing over at the pair I've been desperately trying to clean*
Oxi-clean and fels-naptha soap bar. Try it!
That’s why I mostly own black shoes although I love the white ones....
A mix of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda made my converse look brand new!
The shoe: ITS NOT MY FAULT 😓😓😓😓😓😓😓
All I can imagine is 👟👀
I would actually CRY if she responded she’s literally my idol! ❤️
Dose anyone else realise that hope has just worn leggings that you can barely breathe in for a week just for us
yeah i mean it’s in the title lol
i guess it’s kind of a risk tho bc i thiinnnk it can bruise your insides 😬
why am i watching this instead of studying for finals 👀👀
Good question. I’m going after this though
Hi! HopeScope! So excited to watch!
Btw Hope, your marble yoga zipped top is SO awesome 😍! I'm looking for these for a while and can't find beautiful ones...
The perfect antidote to a rainy Wednesday!
I low key wanna try these not for any “waist trimming” purposes but bc they look kinda cute
Me: checking my notifications and then see this video, FINALLY A HOPESCOPE VIDEO!
❤️❤️❤️❤️ best part of the week is a hopescope vid
you should review ab stimulator things. apparently they make your abs more defined but I think we need a hopescope review!
THANK YOU!!! Too often we are bombarded in mainstream media that you need a snatched waist of like 20 and hips. It's really nice to hear from someone who loves athletics but also values every body.
Honestly, these look like they would be GREAT for Postpartum. I know it’s not what they’re meant for but abdominal binders are super helpful after birth and these look exactly like the one I had .... just with leggings attached 😂
That sounds extremely dangerous.
I‘m wearing one sometimes and I had 2 C Section births. For wearing slim dresses it‘s perfect as it takes forever to get the belly away.
@@jeonghanenjoyer It's not. The binders are basically just like wearing spandex. Lol
@@jeonghanenjoyer what’s more dangerous is not having your organs move back into their proper place and your rectus abdominus muscles not knitting back together after the displacement of having a child gestate in your body for nine months
Not me yeeting myself at my phone when I heard the HopeScope text jingle 😂😂😂
I don't usually watch fitness stuff but your video was super heartwarming and fun! I love how authentic you were!
luv when u do the research for me! u r truly the best!
“Step one in transforming your body so you can get a perfectly snatched waist...DON’T” 👏👏👏
Love your outlook on setting fitness goals!!
Thank you for showing your body and I mean this in a non creepy way, it was nice to see a fitness influencer not have solid abs and skin that doesn't move and I mean that in a good way ! Hope you look amazing and you look real !
Lass you are fine the way you are. Nice to see someone who true to themselves.
Ahhh I love you hope! You have the best content I swear!!
