Used to be "snow in Scotland", "windy in the Midlands" and "heavy rain in the South" - and everyone just got on with it., Now we get all these warnings left right and centre, like it's the end of the world!

I don't know much, but i was looking at the weather map of very high winds for 30/12/2024. and the chart say's very strong winds will be blowing from Ireland UK until it hits around Greenland. what is going on pray tell.?
