It's 1/26/24 as I am writing this and the Pace 500.2 is now down to $999. An absolute steal. Mine is coming in today. The possible downside is that it only comes in the tan color and "medium" frame size.
If you had $2000 to spend on an e-bike, which one would you most recommend? I just moved to Colorado Springs, which is actually higher in elevation than Denver. Since there are a lot of hills and I'm still adjusting to the altitude, I wanted something that I could use for both exercise and cruising around. At this point, I don't see myself getting on any aggressive single track/mountain bike trails anytime soon. When/if I do, I would likely get a normal mountain bike for that scenario - so an e-bike would be a hybrid at best (mostly paved, packed gravel, and occasional grass). I'm really keen on the torque sensor since that feels more natural than a cadence sensor, but I also want the ability to use a throttle for easy starts and being lazy/too tired. I have many miles of available trails, so a long range is desired. Since good e-bikes are expensive, this needs to be shared among multiple family members, all ranging from 4'11" to 5'5".
I found a new project called the freebeat Morph eBike, which offers a unique 2-in-1 indoor and outdoor riding experience. With its brushless 750W motor, 80mm front suspension, and puncture-resistant fat tires, it promises a smooth and comfortable ride in any condition. The most impressive feature is the ability to charge the bike when used in indoor mode. It also has a Smart Saddle Detection+ feature that provides performance insights and keeps you motivated during your rides. This project seems promising, and I'm excited to see how it performs in real-world conditions. As for the tannus armour tire inserts, I'm not sure if they improve comfort, but they could possibly add cushion to the ride quality.
II have an Aventon Pace 500.3. The suspension is in the seat. I have ridden front suspension bikes for years. Don’t notice the difference.

Great video Mitchell
never seen the black color 500.3
It’s now $1799.00 as of today June 10, 2024.
Do the tannus armour tire inserts improve comfort, or add cushion to the ride quality?

No. Install a suspension seatpost if you want to improve the ride quality. I have a suntour ncx, and it transformed the ride quality.
Great video! I have several videos on Aventon Soltera on my channel, it’s a great bike, I ride it everyday 👍
Ah vend ton aventón means lift or take a ride
Schrader valve versus French on the tires
They're really built for schrader
Schwalbe marathon plus. You’ll get 10,000 miles on them and never have a puncture. 60 bucks apiece.
If only it had a belt instead of a chain, it would close to perfect for the price
I bought this bike 3 months ago and it’s already defective, not worth the money
What kind of defects?
I'm curious, did you have a separate video of your dishonest opinion? ;) Just kidding, I understand it's sort of an attempt at clickbait.
Gotta stress that we don't hold back in our reviews. We love our vendors but I like to be 100% transparent with you guys.
