I live three miles from that spot, I always scan the water when I'm driving to see if your on that part of Loudon. I grew up here and can see all the changes, back in the day mostly poor people lived on the river. Thanks for the videos and putting those fish back where they belong.

Dave, The sun was no bother as I could see the turkeycats good... At one point, the way the sun was shining right above your head, as you were facing to back of boat, you kinda looked angelic... I would have said godly type, but wouldn't want you to get a big head! 🤣👍 That last fish, I though for a second, you were going head first in the water, after tripping! 😲
You definitely got the science down on the cat fishing, quite a far cry from the old days when people I know were having jumbo hooks special made and baiting them with hole chickens and piglets trying to catch a world record. needles to say they never caught any thing.

i can relate to the jet-skiers in your spot. I was slip bobber fishing for walleye last summer and these two jet skiers did circles around me for about 20 minutes. i was not happy

This is probably a silly question but,do you ever write any of the music you use in your videos? I ask because I know you do play the guitar. I started learning to play at nine years old. I'm just shy of 50 so it's my passion for sure. I heard you playing Wildwood flower the other day. First song I learned to play. Hearing that brought back a flood of memories.
Dave, I used to fish that part of the Turkey Creek embayment where you started back when there was nothing but woods on both sides where all of those houses and docks are. Wasn't all that long ago, 70s and 80s. Up on the other end where Turkey Creek itself enters the lake we used to fish there by the bridge just down from Concord Rd. and the telephone company. I used to catch 2lb bluegill on crickets there regularly. It's also where I landed my first gar on the creek side of the bridge. I hooked a carp on a pocket fisherman (remember those?) that was almost as long as my leg on 10lb test line and the Pocket Fisherman broke on me. The plastic holding the gears must have been flawed and gave out. I lost that carp and all 5 of us present agreed it had to have topped 50lb. It was huge. lol Now I look at Google Earth and I don't even recognize the place. Northshore Drive used to have one store there by Ebeneezer Rd. Unbelievable. Anyone here remember Northshore Drive back then?

Fished a lake in Michigan that had no wake hours except from 11:00am - 7:00pm that way you could get some piece from those dagblasted jet skis in the prime fishing hours
