Wow your results are incredible! The look on your face when you look at yourself in the mirror was so touching. I really felt in the moment with you. I look forward to experiencing the same for myself one day. Thank you for sharing!
Crying watcjing this its almost my turn just had my consultation with mr kneeshaw told itll be a 6 month or sooner wait for surgery and pre op will be 2 weeks before it. I cant wait for this to be me 😭😭😭
@@casperscrochet2303 Oh bless you! One thing I would warn you of is he's definitely a morning person. He's very bright eyed and bushy tailed at stupid o'clock in the morning lol.
Just watched this with Ronnie. You look fantastic, I have to admit I cried a little when the dressings came off. I am so happy for you, hope your recovery continues well x
Thank youuuuuu :) Yeah it was so amazing because it was finally sinking in. For the first time in a long time I was seeing what I'm supposed to see. :D
@@takotravels Oh OK, sorry I didn't think of that. It'll be fairly cold in August for you right? If shorts are too cold then jogging bottoms are great.
Teared up a lot watching this. I’m having surgery this Monday with Dr Gover, after being on a 4 year waiting list. Thank you so much for documenting this, it has put a lot of my anxiety to rest. Your results look amazing, Kneeshaw did such an amazing job, have a great day!
@@TheRogueDM no problem bro, looked a bit uncomfortable when the bandages came off but I'm hoping to go to Mr Kneeshaw this year. Hopefully it all goes to plan. Can I have your Instagram or something so I can ask you a few questions please? 🙌
I have surgery with Mr Kneeshaw in exactly a month! I am SO excited but so so nervous and scared! I've watched this video so many times over the years, and now its happening!
It was to start with but compared to the velcro binder it's so much better. Basically Kneeshaw's team give you a fresh binder after the drains are taken out. It's a compression vest so it keeps everything tight but comfortable. It's common practice amongst surgeons to get you to bind for so long post op.
Congratulations! 🥳 Kneeshaw normally says six weeks. I did take little breaks but honestly I even wore it a little longer because my chest still felt a bit fragile. Wearing a t shirt underneath can help if it gets uncomfortable.
I managed to convince him to do it in 3 months between consultation and op. However, I was private, and I'd been through the NHS to get on HRT and get a referral, which in total took over 2 years.

Thank you Ash :) I hope you're as happy as I am the day it happens to you!
Oh my gosh! You look so handsome! It really was just meant to be like this.
What lovely nurses you had.
Congratulations! ❤️
Thank you so so much! ♥
Those nurses were amazing! So lovely.
Yeah they were like my second mothers! 😁

Best of luck when the big day comes! In the meantime be kind to yourself and keep your mind occupied with stuff you enjoy.
@@TheRogueDM Thank you I'm actually crocheting a doll of a trans man post top surgery for Mr Kneeshaw

What a beautiful video! Love how sweet the nurses were too.
They were incredibly sweet, right up to tucking in my shirt label once I was dressed again. 😂 Very motherly!
@@TheRogueDM That's so sweet! I hope I get that for my surgery, August 16 this year 😁
@@takotravels Oh congrats! I'm sure you will! :) I'd recommend taking comfy shorts in that kind of weather. Who are you having it with?
@@TheRogueDMThank you! I'll keep that in mind. Having it done with Mr Andy Ives in Australia where I live.

Congrats! I've got a video for equipment to bring which is worth watching if you haven't done so already.
That little white vest they gave you towards the end looks so uncomfortable o.0 I couldn't hear too well, what's it for?

How long do you have to wear the white zip up binder for post op. I got surgery with kneeshaw at spire on Tuesday just gone, drains out on Thursday!

@@TheRogueDM thank you! We're the breaks like day breaks or like is this an overnight deal like the wraparound recovery binder thing
How long was u on the waiting list for him ? Nhs or private?

In a hospital.
