want to help me earn a bit of money, and earn some for yourself? there’s an app called panel that gives you points for going places and answering surveys over time, and you can exchange them for gift cards. this isn’t sponsored or anything and don’t feel bad if you don’t wanna, I totally get it! here’s my link:

I had a spine surgery a few months ago and I’d recommend these tips for spine surgery too :)
My surgery date is January 23rd, I can't express how grateful how I am that you've posted this, this info is the info I've been angrily googling for years and only finding Breast Cancer recovery sites.
Also some people's ability to focus takes a blow after surgery. For the first week I really struggled to read a sentence. Thankfully after 3 weeks I was mostly back to normal
I was in surgery for six hours when I had spine surgery, and I was so thirsty. I was really impatient aswell (I was in a lot of pain (morphine, paracetamol, and ibruprofen all at once)). But I wasn’t allowed to drink for the first 12 hours (because it was a hazard because I couldn’t sit up). So all I could do was use one of those horrible medical sponges to suck on and then get actual liquid. But then at about 3 in the morning I was allowed to drink, I could sleep because it was high dependency (one step down from intensive care) so lots of machines, and I was in much pain. So I had one cup of blackcurrent, and one of orange on one of those funny tables with straws in and drank about 3 cups of each in 4 hours. I had one nice nurse so she got me it so my parents could sleep. COMPLETELY AWESOME PERSON. Get earplugs because you will nap, so you can block out the noise if you need to sleep.
Wish I could just take a scalpel to my chest myself. I asked my dog if she could perform surgery and she farted.
Yes, stool softeners! If you are prone to constipation anyway, get your GP to prescribe you some. You really don't want to have to deal with that on top of the discomfort from surgery
when you said lap desk i heard lap dance and i was SO confused lmao
are ya bored after surgery? get urself a lap dance. My boyfriend visited plenty ;)
Thank you as always for the shoutout! 💗 It's always interesting to hear about differences in recovery for different people (and what different surgeons recommend)!
Thank you Ashton! I’m getting top surgery in one week and this video was very helpful! You’re awesome ❤️
aaa perfect timing then!!! I hope everything goes super well 💖
I was in orchestra the other day, and my teacher put on a video on UA-cam. An ad popped up. IT WAS THE AD WITH THE PERSON SORTING THE PEAS. *I SAW THE PEAS.*
ITS AN E-PEA-DEMIC
Ashton Daniel this didnt age well LMAO
Lmaoooooo
Read that as snorting the peas lol
Yes! The Ocean at the End of the Lane is so good I second Ashton’s recommendation. It made me feel lots of things which is what I look for in books.
I don’t see top surgery in my future at this moment in time but the video was still very interesting to watch. Also Ashton you are wearing a non black shirt today without a jacket on top! This is a rare occurrence.
Thank you for all the effort you put into these videos!

I’m preparing for surgery on my ribs next week and this is super helpful!!
Just a small tip, drinking pineapple juice days before and after surgery can help reduce swelling
Thanks this is a good reminder even tho im gonna get top surgery in like 6 years xD
No names No oc's same it's not posible to get it till I'm 18
Sooooo... it's been six years, how has life been treating you?
Thanks,Ashton! I am planning on getting surgery in the future and this was very helpfulfor me. It kinda grosses me out a bit the tube part (I am a bit scared of open wounds),but I know I will handle it. Thank you so much for this video and keep up the good work!
Ayy army, there aren't many trans armies out there u should dm me @cypher_.x on Instagram if u have it
Your videos really make my mood better after a bad day! Thanks you for making these videos ☺️
I'm hopinghopinghoping that I will have had top surgery by the time the summer of 2019 rolls around. :,) Thanks for the tips, Ashton! I'll definitely return to this video when I actually know when I'll be getting surgery.
Have u had it?
Great advice. Also love MCR!
Oh shit, this video got me thinking about something. I sleep on my sides or stomach because sleeping on my back makes it hard to breath and can make sleep paralysis happen more frequently but I can imagine that sleeping the way I normally do isn't gonna be an option. Does anyone else have that happen to them and does anyone have any advice for avoiding sleep paralysis and making it easier to breath while laying on your back?
totally unrelated but where did you get your collar? i love it
I actually made it myself but thank you!
I got top surgery five days ago and I slept for two hours last night thanks to itchiness. I’ve been taking Benadryl and tons of different things but it’s so itchy and painful. Is there anything I can do about this?
Got me some metal straws
Hello ashton
WOWIE
I'm early!!!!
