I really like carnatic-jazz fusion if done well. but the the vocalist sucks.absolutely no emotions or bhakti bhava in the song. the rest of the band are good though.
Maarut is one word and not " maa--rut". No space please in any name. Marut is one name ( lord hanuman ). Others overall ok.

It's okay to experiment with the style and presentation BUT butchering the lyrics...NO.
I can remember Madurai Mani Iyer singing this to the taste of Western Music lovers.Here,Krishna renders it well with his band of excellent instrumentalists.Any music lover will appreciate it,I am sure.

No, that is the difference. Most of the music lovers won't be able to to digest this. Nor a single person who actually loves to listen or actually sing carnatic music. It would take hardly 1 min to look up the lyrics in google and see the destruction that he has done to the song.

nice work guys.. I like what you have tried to do with blancing the perfect equation of carnatic genre and the other genre that i hardly understand. The bassist is good, keys needs to improve and the vocals have to be replaced..
u began well, but towards the end, it just sounded like a nursery rhyme gone wrong.

I like the enthusiasm, but they should eat food first. Then, they will be satisfied, and the resulting sounds will be a bit more applicable. Right now it sounds strangely like a bunch of hungry chaps in a train trying to get attention of the hapless copassengers. The whole claptrap cacaphony sounds like an amorphous partly digested reggae, calypso, with konnakol thrown in for good measure.
Someone actually produced this! God....you have produced a bunch of really resilient human beings!
The singer could sound good if he is a bit more restrained in one way, and let loose from the clutches of clanging around him. But good for him he is quite brave under the circumstances he finds himself in, and the whole group inflicts us with. We are not that fortunate.
