Thank you for this video, it’s very helpful to me… What I find confusing is the metric system conversion as well… Your pronunciation is perfect

I remember so well the mental gymnastics trying to figure out Escudos/Contos to USD at Expo 98 - and nobody had change. Gil didn't help much with that! Still have a Fernando Pessoa Cem Escudos note. Thank you for the video! You have a great way of transmitting information clearly.

O dinheiro desaparece tão rapidamente e custa tanto a voltar 🤣

True but the ending os três and dez have the same sound, even though written very differently. Bons estudos!

Thanks for the video. Talking of money did you know that Manuel Barroso works for the Chase Manhattan bank in America. Do you know why he's working for the bank and that he was president of the EU commission?
He was a CIA agent he was financed by them to be at the head of the second leftist party in Portugal.
You are asking why? Well the CIA wanted to weaken the influence of the main Portuguese socialist party and of "Caval branco".
When at the Malta agreements on the island Barroso was introduced to Bush (father) and that's how through manipulations he got his job at the commission.

Barroso was never a socialist for proof the building where he was president in Brussels was renovated for 2 billion euros. He was to occupy the whole of the last floor with his team. 2.weeks before they would finish his floor (the painters where finishing off the last touches) he came to visit. When he saw the way it was decorated he said out loud "I don't like any of this take it all down". So everything was redecorated to his liking and it cost the European tx payers another 10 million euros...
