I was gonna ask if this comes from a personal playlist or UA-cam music, and to think I thought that was irrelevant! I wish said “what goes around comes right on back. You’re gonna be lonely!” I kept hearing it that way.
When I was totally poor, I bought rolls of wallpaper on clearance for 50 cents or a dollar and wrapped the front and sides of produce boxes (like the large ones from places like Aldi's) and used them for pull out shelving. It was pretty, everything matched and I could get to the way back of cupboards easy easy. I did the same with smaller boxes for the refrigerator, drawers, whatever. The boxes were free and the most I ever paid for the wallpaper was $1 a roll (and it was prepasted, so there was that, too). edit: I even used Christmas wrap on smaller boxes in my clothes drawers.
As a very short person (4’9”) I am very familiar with not being able to reach shelves! A kitchen designer gave me a hint years ago and I’m going to pass it along for all the short people in the world. In your upper cabinets put the shortest items on the bottom. Then lower the next shelf as low as possible. (I noticed all your shelves are all adjustable). Put the next shortest items on the the next shelf and then lower the third shelf as low as possible. And keep doing this for as many shelves as are in the cabinet. On the final upper shelf put your tallest items, especially the ones you don’t use much. Also on the higher shelves use turntables. A lot of the time I can reach the front of the shelf but not what’s behind in the back. Turntables solve that problem. It doesn’t make a “Pinterest Perfect” cabinet, but sometimes you have to give up a little “form” for “function”. On the other end of things, as you get older you will find its harder and harder to reach the stuff in the bottom cabinets, the bottom deep ones being the worst. This is where all those slide out baskets come in handy. If you own your own home you can put regular roll out shelves (Rev-A-Shelf). They are very pricey but as an older person with lots of arthritis problems, I find them invaluable! Also, you can store you pot& pan lids on the pot itself but turn it upside down Then you can stack them on top of each other. I put one of those felt protectors on the glass lids so they don’t get scratched by the pot that’s living on top of it. Love all your storage bins and baskets and thank you for sharing all of your ideas! I have really enjoyed watching your videos.
Good ideas for the older person. I have watched a 100 videos looking for those kind of ideas. I'm not 7 feet tall, am uncomfortable standing on step ladders and such, and that bending over to get into lower cabinets is a pain. Thank you for sharing.

Wow I’m 70 & it just goes to show there’s always something new to learn. Toothpaste to mark where to put Strips or Nails. What a Great Idea. I’ve put off hanging some new Grandchildren Photos but NOW it’s going to be SO EASY. Thank you so much. Hang a Fat hand towel in front of Duct.
You can use a sharpie marker and if you want to remove the mark? Use 92% alcohol on a cotton ball, just make sure to wash off the alcohol so there's no residual damage from the alcohol. Easy peasy. Low cost way to do things. I've always tried to read things like reader's digest or consumer best buy reports to stay on top of the new stuff that's coming out.
Depending on the way the lid fits, I might lay a plastic grocery bag under the lid, with corners and handles out, so I can lift the lid out easily, since the pot lid isn't handy.
Watching these and other videos have helped me through something similar. Hope you’re ok. Take care of yourself. And please know people care - even those who might not know you... :) x

I want just to say thank you. I had made in my mind in 2023, I would remove the pattern of a good housekeeping magazine cover as my goal for my home. I failed miserably and just became very discouraged and went nowhere. So on my new adventure I turned on your channel and I heard you say everything didn't have to look like a Pinterest, I watched several videos and you repeat that. and that do it to your functionality and that was just such a blessing !!!!!!!! to hear somebody else say what I had already committed to. I really got a lot of great ideas from you. I'm 60 years old I have mobility issues I don't have a small space but I'm trying to put the majority of things I use into one room because of a disability in mobility and your ideas have helped me so much to organize my bedroom into a functional peaceful easy on the eye but not magazine cover room. It has truly blessed me to be comfortable in my environment and to be able to have what I need so thank you!!!!
I have a mobility problem too. One thing I have found really useful recently is a three tier cart from Amazon. The top tier is a plastic drawer with a wooden board on top and the other two are metal trays, so it doesn't look as tacky as some purely plastic carts. The plastic drawer is great for all the small bits - pens, tweezers, smalls pots of moisturizer, lip balm etc which looks untidy on display. I try to keep the stuff in the metal trays as attractive and organized as I can since this is on display, however, I've had to let go of worrying too much. The cart sits right by my bed (where I spend the most time) and I have everything in easy reach. It's easy to roll out of the way too when I need to get up or change the bed. They can also be used for cleaning supplies or moving items around the home etc.
Quick tip: when adding the organizer to the inside of the door, attach both 3M strips to the container before pressing against the door. This lets you avoid removing them over and over to get them matched.
You have done a beautiful job with many great ideas. One suggestion: remove cleaning products from under sink or put lock on cabinet. Carson doesn’t need access to such dangerous products. Just an idea from an old mom.
I just wanna say I’m so happy seeing a kitty roaming in your video 🥺😍. Please make more videos about kitty things / organizer for kitty stuff ? I would love to watch because my adopted kitten will be here next week and I’m dying for contents like that 🥰
If you want even more storage options especially in the bathroom, get you a over the toilet cabinet they have so many designs now. My friend used one in her bed room and put her laundry basket underneath.
I have had nice sized homes in my past, FILLED with things (most of which, I did not need).. I now live in a tiny house, WITH my fiancé. We, previously, had a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a huge living room, kitchen, dining room, den area, an attic, a massive side and back yard, 3 vehicles, etc. We’ve now downsized, like I said, to a single vehicle and we live in a tiny house with a whopping 2 storage lofts. Needless to say, we have gotten rid of a lot of stuff and thankfully, I’m an organization freak and have been able to come up with some clever storage spaces and hacks.. including our new sofa. We got rid of our one year old sofa where both ends reclined and got a new one that is a sleeper sofa, and also uses the chaise lounge end as storage, where it lifts open and we can store our sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. in there. We got this because the loft we had our mattress on was extremely claustrophobic.. it was so low that we would hit our heads every time we sat up. (I actually got this tiny home years ago, before it was, really, a trend.. so, whoever built it probably didn’t imagine someone would be living in it). It didn’t matter much, to us, if we couldn’t use that as our bedroom since it’s just the two of us living here, and we had PLENTY of things that we needed a storage space for, anyway.. so we decided to go ahead and just use it for storage. We still have plenty of living space for the 2 of us, with a walk-in closet, decent sized bathroom, a living room (I am, also, lucky enough to have space to put my desk and have a little work area, for myself, in the living room), a kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, stove, and even a kitchen sink with a garbage disposal and we have the 2 lofts, like I’ve said, and we have a nice sized front porch. We have been lucky. But I love this video and there are MANY helpful tips and tricks on here.. I appreciate this. Also, like you, I love to organize and re-organize.. to the point where my fiancé will pick on me and tell me I “organized the hell outta that area”. He said I “made those cabinet spaces my b*tch”. lol. Like you said, I don’t need to make everything look “Pinterest perfect”, but it is nice to have a freshly organized space.. it makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something. It gives me a sigh of relief. I know it may sound corny, but I can almost, just breathe a breath of relief. I just feel better, afterwards.. Lol. Thanks for the video.
I love how you keep it small. It’s easy to do big spaces. But, small kitchens like my gallery kitchen fits like a glove that’s tight. So it’s always about looking for the better organizational motivation to want to open the cabinets and Work on them smarter. I love the products also you introduce. Thanks for sharing.
Love your ideas! As a long time renter, I've learned to put good quality waterproof liner in all cabinets. Easy to clean, no shelf marks and protection from water leaks. Container Store has some good ones. Anyway, I enjoy your channel!
I love what you've done with things to make your rental far more personal. One thing I've learned over the years is to turn the pot lids upside down, so the handles go down into the pot. The lids store comfortably right with the pan that they go to on those pan organizers - saved me so much headache
Joseph Joseph makes some of the most genius storage solutions. I LOVE those lid holders. They are an absolute game changer - need a lid? Open the door and grab it- no need to shift things around or rummage.
Hey I saw this video last year for some ideas, and I moved again so I'm rewatching for ideas for my new apartment! I love that you focus on function vs looks, although yours also looks nice and is functional.
Wonderful job, love your videos because my apartment needs lots of TLC, thank you so much!!! Do not worry about making spelling mistakes or little things being done wrong, it is ok, no one is perfect, your ideas are wonderful indeed.❤️❤️❤️
the best under sink organisation I have ever seen on youtube. Thank you for sharing your pantry I love the idea and it's so budget friendly for those that are renting. Well Done Catherine
I think it is a good idea to put the aluminum foil vertically at the cabinet door, but I would not place them in the same cabinet with the toxic chemicals.
Yes very true I agree with u. I too wouldn't keep my alu foil n parchment boxes in there with all that stuff with those chemicals n extinguisher... A big NO NO as that's used for foods. 😘👍🙏🙏
I am very new to your channel & only ran across you by suggestion chance via you tube. To be frank though, I could not be more appreciative. I have found your mom style having to be super basic but massively effective. AND I LOVE that you leave in your multi-reorganize steps. I don't feel so crazy!
This is the first video I’ve watched from you and the second you said it doesn’t matter how perfect your containers match or how beautiful it is, I subscribed!
I have found that placing a role of trash can liners in the bottom each trash can (the correct size for each trash can)that waythe liner is Right there !
Having your video playing on my speakers while cleaning and organizing my kitchen is what I needed to keep me from "taking a break" 😬😅😊 Your videos are always so motivating and your voice soothing!! Double win!!🙌💜
In our Canadian dollar store you can buy an under sink plastic rubbery liner. Be great for renting in case if a spill. Great video. You are absolutely right about being able to see what food items you have, matching expensive containers don't matter.
One suggestion for the pot tops is to put them on the pots upside down with the top handle facing inside of the pot and then putting them on the little organizer you purchased
It looks well organized when you finished. I use an expanding rod to hang spray bottles on, it frees up space too. One thing for me is to keep the fire extinguisher up on the counter, if ever needed I don't want to have to bend over, and open a cupboard to access , and release it.
We moved from a house to a smaller apartment. It’ll be a couple of years before we can buy a house, again. So now I am trying to find way to add storage to our tiny apartment. I’m loving this series. Thanks for the ideas!
You are working WAY too hard honey. I admire your dedication and motivation. I sincerely hope you get to go play as well! You’ll never regret just hanging out with your family and letting the house be a bit messy. I promise 🥰
Thank you Catherine Elaine!!! And Hello! I just moved into a not as big as I would need rental. You gave me so many great solutions! I have to watch your full videos again just to write down everything. Love the kitties!!!
I found a large oval tote or bucket if you will in 3 pastelly colors at Dollar tree. I used it to store all my frying pan and kettle lids. It fits perfect. A tote I pull out and select which lid I need. 😀 Then I just nest like kettles and frying pans together. 😊
I love, love, love this marathon video ❤👌. It was super motivating and fun to look back at all your previous projects. Keep up the good work. Praying for you and your family to find your beautiful home soon.
I watched on another organizer channel to keep pots and pans at waist level that you use alot , then use the lower cupboards for stuff you occasionally use. I love it much better.
Top tip for storing pots, pans, and their lids is if you place the lids that fit each pot and pan upside down in their pot or pan it saves so much space and you don't have to buy anything else for the lids! But I definitely love the adjustable organizer you got, I'm planning on getting one myself!!!
I see this is a year old but a few of your videos have been autoplaying tonight and I’ve pieced together what your life was like at that time. I hope things are going a lot better for you, I’ve had a transformative last few years and I feel like that’s what you were also going through. Your tips were super helpful. Keep on keeping on!
I just moved back in my apartment after a month and 2 weeks after the flooding in my city, my whole apt was ruined and now my apt is full of boxes everywhere, sometimes is overwhelming., thank u x ur great ideas, I love ur tips
I accidentally received a pot and pan rack.Didn't know what to do with it. My breads, buns and tortillas were always falling on my stove. I placed the bottom along the back wall of counter.Used high and low legs for stability. Placed bread on bottom, put next pan spacer, hamburger buns, another spacer, hot dog buns another spacer tortillas. That was the last notch for spacers. I had 3 spacers left over. Back in the box. In basement storage in case I think of a different use and need them. No melting wrappers, no hot bread. Also purchased a magnetic knife rack, to further declutter the counter. Really enjoying your videos, new subscriber. I'm 62 with back neck and now hip restrictions. I'm sure some of your subscribers can pass this along to designers, real estate people, developers. It doesn't matter about age, all of us would benefit from pull out shelves in bottom kitchen cabinets. Searching for a slider for top drawer in bathroom. It sits on a track. and its half the size of the drawer twice as much space.
Thank you! I really liked this series, and it definitely helped me figure out ways to find space, especially in the kitchen and laundry space. Even little things, like doors on the laundry room means broom storage!
I love cleaning. Tho I get really OCD, I use a tooth brush to clean tiny places and use it for everything 😂 I can spend 7’hoirs straight cleaning the tiles with a tooth brush it’s bad. Love your videos
Thanks so much for sharing. I’ve been binge watching videos on organizing and they always focus on picture perfect which is something I really don’t have the time or energy, so I appreciate how real you are. Thank you for being real😊. I’m new subscriber 😊
Just found your channel and subscribed within two minutes of watching this video. Thank you for posting such practical, useful, and helpful information! GREAT JOB!!
One way to cut down on clutter is to study healthy ways to clean things as well as to clean yourself. You'll find out that all you need in bathroom, laundry, kitchen and craft room to stay healthy and clean are vinegar, rubbing alcohol, peroxide, detergent and baking soda. Seriously. I keep mine in a small rolling cart so the cabinets are free to hold towels, paper goods, and bed linens....save space and save tons of money and be clean and healthy. I estimate that I own less than 1/2 as much hygiene, sanitation and cleaning clutter in my house as my friends do... and I always smell good too. Naturally! 😉
I'm moving tomorrow: we had two days notice. I'm currently living with my best friend's son, who I care for, and his father. We were actually lucky to get a studio for $650-welcome to NYC, and I can't wait to live anywhere else. I just wanted you to know that I don't really watch most of the episodes, however I take care to save them as you usually provide alternatives that are closer to my budget. I save your videos under "hopefully", because I hope to be able to afford to have the means for a simple home. Thank you! Best, Elizabeth
Thanks for sharing the challenges you had with all your gadgets, and for showing the practicality of everything as it related to your space. Everything looks awesome ...great job!! You're so industrious. I admire you🌷
Great video thank you. As for the eyesore vent tunnel, you can make a little curtain with a bar on top and bottom, or hang a cute sign. You can also hang a peg board, use 2by2 frame behind the board then hang it. Paint it a cute color and then use the pegs and baskets and hooks designed to go on peg boards, u can make it way wider than the hole in the wall and make it a very useful space. I know you rent but if you create an aesthetically pleasing useful solution to an eye sore, most Landlords will be grateful if you leave it in place when you move out. Also, the occasional hole in a wall is very easy to Spackle and paint over, which most Landlords do automatically between tenants anyway. I also have a paper towel holder and little shelf-in-one thing in my laundry room that holds some household cleaning spray that I use to keep laundry room and doors clean. It's very quick and easy to grab for any messes or spills that happen near the laundry room also.
I would have to say that the entry hall makeover was my favorite! You did such a great job on it! All the other organization was very creative for a rental and/or small house. It was fun to watch all of this marathon again. 🌺
You have such a pleasant demeanor.. very calming & down to earth personality. I'm glad I ran across your video, many great ideas. Thank you, this video was greatly appreciated.
i really hope you see this , if you turn the pan/pot lids upside down you can set them back on the pan/pots helps narrow down the space too ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!!!!
If you find the organizer you're using for foil and bags needs tweaking, try reversing it so the long side is where you currently have the short side. I've used this for years and love it!
Hello from FL. We are in apartment and I absolutely love these ideas. Thank you. I've only done some minor organizing with small baskets in bathroom and shelves in pantry...I need to do the rest. Seeing you get this done is my encouragement in a way. I hope it looks as good as your setup. Those pot lid racks i can't wait to find a spot for those. Who would've thought being this excited to organize. 👍
Hi! I know this was posted a long whiles ago, but just in case it's helpful or it helps anyone else. Maybe store the pot lids backwards on top of the pot. It might fit better on the organizer. With the handle inside the pot I mean. Hopefully I'm being clear
Awesome video. I just moved to a new house with a tiny kitchen and this was helpful. Also, I think the biggest joy I got from this video was seeing a Wegmans package XD Best grocery store ever and I'll be bummed when I inevitably move away from Wegmans territory haha.

Thank you for the realism of organization dosen't need to look beautiful, it just needs to be functional.
I love how you keep it small. It’s easy to do big spaces. But, small kitchens like my gallery kitchen fits like a glove that’s tight. So it’s always about looking for the better organizational motivation to want to open the cabinets and
Work on them smarter.
Music should be soothing
Loud music big no-no
....video nce
Thank you!!!!
For cookie sheets, get a magazine holder, turn it sideways and store them sideways. Easier to get to them and you can store more.
$ STORES R YOUR BEST PLACE TO FIND SUCH THINGS. CHEAP!
The way that the taco kit fit in that spot was beyond satisfying
🤣
Having your video playing on my speakers while cleaning and organizing my kitchen is what I needed to keep me from "taking a break" 😬😅😊 Your videos are always so motivating and your voice soothing!! Double win!!🙌💜
I take the laptop, so I can see And hear. 😄
Q
That spice rack is so neat💕. I also love the small space saver for the rice.
I have been watching this video over the past 3 days and boy is it good
You are working WAY too hard honey.
The kittens made me smile 🥰
OMG... Little Man is helping mom with his own 'electric drill' 💙❤
I store lids on the pots. Turn them upside down so the handle is in the pot.
Yep
sensible idea
Great if you have space and you do not have to stack but not so great for a small kitchen
I found a large oval tote or bucket if you will in 3 pastelly colors at Dollar tree. I used it to store all my frying pan and kettle lids. It fits perfect. A tote I pull out and select which lid I need. 😀
Then I just nest like kettles and frying pans together.

The cats make me laugh! Definitely interested in the compact silverware tray, drawer dividers, and under-sink drawer/shelf!
Loved how you said "playing Tetras" with your drawer organizers. Been there!
Top tip for storing pots, pans, and their lids is if you place the lids that fit each pot and pan upside down in their pot or pan it saves so much space and you don't have to buy anything else for the lids! But I definitely love the adjustable organizer you got, I'm planning on getting one myself!!!
I love your organization suggestions. I am adding things to my Amazon lists while watching.
Girl, same! Love them all!
The tip at [4:15] is genius! You’ve made my life so much easier with that.
Old clothes make good cloths.
Hope u enjoy all.
Organization welldone.
Love these organizations ides. I especially love the silverware trays.
Thanks for video. I personally would use 3 kitchen shelf where you keep frames for glass jars with pasta rice and ect. It a lot of space
Small space organization tips AND foster kittens...it's the perfect video. :)
These are great ideas and I will be using some of them for sure! I've been looking for ideas on organizing my small space.
if I have a cleaning product that I don't like, I use it to clean the toilet. soap is soap :)
I’m so glad I found this tutorial cause I have a handycap apt and I got a lot of ideas thanks
Love how your under sink organization is! The spice rack on the inside door would be perfect for my kitchen!
You had me at foster kittens ❤️❤️❤️ everything looks awesome!! Love all of the organational items!! Great job Momma!! 👍😺🏠
I just moved back in my apartment after a month and 2 weeks after the flooding in my city, my whole apt was ruined and now my apt is full of boxes everywhere, sometimes is overwhelming., thank u x ur great ideas, I love ur tips
A TASK PER DAY....
Im an OCD scrubber but, fail at organization!
Love your strengths!
You know what your good at!
Thanks so much for sharing. I’ve been binge watching videos on organizing and they always focus on picture perfect which is something I really don’t have the time or energy, so I appreciate how real you are. Thank you for being real😊. I’m new subscriber 😊
I love the idea of not being perfect but do what works for u thank u for making this video
Loved the tips! The spider would have ended the under sink organization for me 😂. I did a thorough examination before switching out my kitchen faucet.
Just found your channel and subscribed within two minutes of watching this video. Thank you for posting such practical, useful, and helpful information! GREAT JOB!!
Loved this reminder of the best videos from you! There were things I forgot about that I wanted! Stop it. Love you
One way to cut down on clutter is to study healthy ways to clean things as well as to clean yourself. Naturally! 😉
So true 🙌
Great job Catherine, you are right it doesn’t have to be perfect or using expensive containers.
Done is better than perfect! And functional is most important 🤗
Pretty kitties. You are a wonderful woman fostering the cats. I miss mine.
Flip lid upside down inside same pan when not in use works great
Thanks ...wasn't motivated today. You helped. Folding and putting away laundry now. Putting on some music!
A very good work and very hard too 👍👍👍👍👍a big kiss from Morocco 🇲🇦❤
It's so much easier to watch someone else organize, and so much better.. lol 😊 i need a pantry.. and i need to organize but I'm watching you.. lol. 😃
Thank you this was helpful I live in an apartment with three kids and I like changing up my organization
Laying boxes of dried pasta and such on their sides and stacking the combined with those shelves works great
I love how you clean everything and watching your videos make me want to clean also be active
😊 thank you
i really hope you see this , if you turn the pan/pot lids upside down you can set them back on the pan/pots helps narrow down the space too ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!!!!
If you find the organizer you're using for foil and bags needs tweaking, try reversing it so the long side is where you currently have the short side. I've used this for years and love it!
Not sure what you mean? Long side?? Mind explaining?
Looks GREAT! Just turn the seam on the shade to the back (out of sight) as it detracted from the perfection of your efforts!! You’re the bomb!!
I'm moving into my uni apartment in three months, been binging these to get idea for my setup!
Omg Love your label.maker!!! I haven't seen one of those in yearssss
Thanks for the inspiration! I will launching my own channel this month. You’ve given me lots of help and tricks! Thanks!!!
if you put your pan lids upside down you can stack another pan on the top x
Use felt squares from Dollar Tree or WalMart 2 separate so they don't Scratch!! 🤗
We've been doing this for years which is why we buy the same brand, stackability!
the command strips velcro them together first then stick them to the wall if that makes since
Hello Catherine thanks for sharing your organizing technics ❤
Something I use to remove price stickers quick is the heat from my hair blower 😊 blessed
Hi! I know this was posted a long whiles ago, but just in case it's helpful or it helps anyone else. Maybe store the pot lids backwards on top of the pot. It might fit better on the organizer. With the handle inside the pot I mean. Hopefully I'm being clear
Great video..I keep my fingers crossed for you to find your home soon 🍀 xoxo from Sweden
Awesome video. I just moved to a new house with a tiny kitchen and this was helpful.
Also, I think the biggest joy I got from this video was seeing a Wegmans package XD Best grocery store ever and I'll be bummed when I inevitably move away from Wegmans territory haha.
Thank you finally I came across your channel renter budget I been searching your apt so similar to my white counter stops with same color cabinets this helps inspiration get ideas house use the space can find budget organizer on a budget this help to those on a budget thank you for sharing this video
