Out of all the wrx steering rack vids this is the only one with a good camera angle. Question, the rack and pinion I got doesn't have that black rubber cap by the steering shaft, do I transfer that over to the new one?
Great commentary and video. 👍 it really isn't necessary tho' to have an annoying music loop... unless your intention is to annoy, in which case.... mission accomplished! (but very helpful video, thanks)
@@godswittness69they probably use the genuine Subaru rack. So they are being honest. You don’t math much do ya? Some people don’t like throwing cardone crap into their subie.
Re-do this video without the horrible music and it would be an excellent video. Great content, good camera work, narration, and editing… but practically unbearable music. And the volume fluctuations are irritating as hell too. Hate to see an otherwise great video ruined by shitty (unnecessary) music!
Great video ! Thank you !
They want to charge me 1500 for this job, so I'm going to try n do it by myself. Only problem is I am not a mechanic 😁
How did it go?
First you’ll get frustrated, and then mad , and than burn the car! Haha great video brotha
I didn’t even notice the music until I hopped in the comments. Other people would cry if there wasn’t music. Great video man 👍
thank you mate, nice and quick with great explanation! 🙂
good shit bro, i bought a forester and its leaking fluid from the rack. might just do the rebuild kit.

And yes if the old one has it but the new one doesn’t I recommend you use the old one.
@@Ls3rick_mc thank you for making this video, your video is what i will use to guide me through this job
Awesome video man!
Thanks Edgar love the support !!!
Badass video but god damn the loud music and super quiet voice over description
@@dsmjaime I’ll get better ❤️🩹

Great video but the music is really loud.
I have audio engineering and production experience. In my opinion you should have no music while you’re talking and then quiet music while working.
Or none at all.
I don’t think you need to be an audio engineer to recognize that.
How much does this job cost on average
1500$
really? that's crazy
Yup yup, a little over that actually, maybe 1560$ or so, from a shop that calls itself "the last honest mechanic" without batting an eye
not me searching it up after i put in the shop☹️

Gotta mute the video and just deal with the auto generated closed captions
