Ugh man, the paintjob is insane, but the base is exactly what i have been wanting to do for my army but i have completely over complicated it and under delivered. I wish this video came out sooner!
Cool video! Love the tip with the sprue-glue. Might suggest pushing up the volume on your voice? It's very low, even when the volume's maxed out. You have a good voice for this, it's a shame that it's hard to hear!
Another great job! Your paint job really makes it look like one creature; so many of these new pyrovores I’ve seen look disconnected from their cannon, like it’s a piece of equipment. (Which it sort of of is, but still.) Yours looks like one giant monster, ready to go.
Question you have done one toturial on bone. But lets say you where painting a Panzee eldar git or Drukhari (don´t know what the orcs call those maybe spiky eldar gits). How would you do Eldar or Drukhari "armor". Would you paint the bones underneath and then cover with chipping fluid then paint on either rust or paint or how would you do it?
Last time I was applying pigment powder I found it difficult to remove excess. I had used streaking grime in that spot previously and the surface felt extra sticky. Is this something you've ran into before. Also this might be obvious but I hadn't mixed the powders with water, does that make the application easier for reaching recesses?
Yes somtimes streak and grime can effect it. So let it cure a good while before pigment powders. But yes u it can make it easier to flow into areas. And also u can control the dilution so that it’s easier to make the pigment stronger or less
@@TheFeralPainter so the ak black gen is more blue than the black legion? Would i be able to use abbadon black or some other citadel black as a substitute Also may i ask which two grey you used?
You do THE best Tyranids scheme hands down no contest. You actually make them look menacing and bug-like.

Do you ever just use the standard plastic cement? Or does every new pot get sacraficed to the god of spru glue?
Yea I use standard now and again
I wasn't sure if I should just sacrafice my pot immediately 🤣
Thanks for the reply 👍

Mmmm great question its somthing ive never done or looked at. But i guess your version would work. Or even sponge chipping
awesome vid ! Quick question any tips on how to have the same result for the skin when you don't have an airbrush ?
Yea just use the drybrush/stipple method from artis opus. If anything it looks better and gives u more texture
thanks a lot for your answer ! Also what are the pigment that you're using ?@@TheFeralPainter
Abtelong 502. But any will work. Vallejo are good too.
Please tell us the names of the paints you use in the description
Mentioned in video 👌🏻
Good grief man! Do any of your minture NOT turn out perfect? Ha haa. Great job...AS ALWAYS FP!

what black did you use? it seems to look blue even with the contrast paint over the carapace.
Ak black gen 3
@@TheFeralPainterdoes the blue come from the black. I used black legion, but it gives off more of a bronze color than the blue
@@TheFeralPainter and what are the medium and light grays that were used?
That will be due to it being a contrast paint. There slightly see through so use a standard acrylic
