Truer words were never spoken Carl. Merle Haggard had 38 number-one hits, and once said "If the good Lord ever put too much talent in one human being’s body, it would be Glen Campbell." Nice to hear Glen's music, especially when played and sang by Carl and Ashley. Whenever I sing Glen's songs, I do so as a tribute to the master performer - Mr. Glen Campbell.
We saw them November 23, 2021. It was a great show. Edit: I was watching a you tube a couple nights ago and saw Glen Campbell playing a guitar with a pretty young blonde. As I watched them play Dueling Banjos on UA-cam, I noticed the title was Glen and Ashley Campbell. Then I remembered the night they played at the Station Inn, Carl introduced Ashley Campbell. I didn't make the connection that night. It was a DUH moment on my part. I didn't realize Ashley was Glen's daughter. Anyway, the show was fantastic and I can't recommend it enough. We live in KC, but will be back sometime. I really wanted some bluegrass, which is my favorite stuff, but it wasn't on this trip.
